The cafe proper is sometimes open to the elements at the front when the weather is right. It was a cool and sunny day and open to the air was just the right feel today. I had difficulty choosing the food today. The Dagwood Bumstead burger, basically a hamburger with the lot with chips on the side, sounded pretty good. My partner selected the BLT with cheese. The food was old fashioned but good. It was just what we were after. The burger was big, tasty and generous. A substantial meal with done lovely chips. The BLT was very well received too. It was all delightfully retro. There was good music playing too. Nice service throughout as well and the staff seemed happy and engaged.
