The cookies are fresh. In the past I was able to purchase these same maple cookies at Cross Border U.S. - Canada shopping by vehicle Duty Free many years ago which I greatly missed. Since I am unable to return to The Great White North I can now bring something from Canada into the U.S. Purchasing direct from manufacturer is always great without any hurdles. Of all the florist listings, I choose The Flower Market Waterdown because I liked their flower arrangements and the shop also sell home décor and gifts. That worked well with my plan, because I wanted both arrangements to be in interesting/unusual containers, rather than the standard glass vase. I emailed the Flower Market my very detailed requests for both arrangements and Vesna promptly responded. She knew exactly what I wanted and days later emailed a picture of the containers she sourced, and they were spot-on. The morning of delivery, Vesna emailed pictures of the final arrangements and they were perfect. She then emailed to let me know they had been delivered as per my specific afternoon delivery time request for both. Thank you Vesna for two beautiful arrangements and perfectly executing my ideas and wishes! Follow up: The day I arrived home from Burlington, I was told an elderly pet, who I adored, of dear friends had passed away and I wanted to let the family know we were thinking of them. She was so unbelievably helpful and easy to work with, and she was able to perfectly match my ideas for my wedding flowers. Not only did she give me three tiers of pricing options so I had flexibility in my spending, but she also had great suggestions on how to handle a few additional weird needs, like getting ivy to put on our centerpieces. Of particular note is that I was arranging my wedding in Hamilton from the States, and not only was Christie fast to respond, but she proved an active listener and always reiterated what I'd asked for in her own words so she was sure that we were on the same page. I felt so confident with her that I didn't think twice about hiring her. She also went above and beyond to get what I wanted - I asked for dahlias, and she gave an awesome and complete answer, saying she wasn't 100% confident she'd be able to get them (as they would be toward the end of blooming season on my October 6th wedding), but she would try her best and if she couldn't get them, she had a backup plan.
