My wife and I had just arrived in Niagara Falls for vacation and we needed to find a place to get souvenirs. We were fortunate enough to be greeted by Mary who helped us find everything we needed at great values. The store has a lot to choose from and we provided a photo for some of the items we purchased. In addition, Mary was very friendly and gave us some pointers for places to visit to avoid tourist traps. Prepare to spend some time browsing this packed little shop and its miscellaneous mementos. Colorful shirts and sweatshirts adorn racks, walls, even the ceiling. The owner, Mary, is a native of Niagara Falls and a lovely conversationalist. Easy free parking in front of the store. The store is undergoing a bit of renovation at the moment but that doesn't impede shopping. We picked up a couple of shirts and a stuffed panda bear. It's not far from the Falls. Various souvenir available and priced reasonably. Just a couple blocks away from main attractions. The cashier was friendly, and provided us with great tips on local attractions and restaurants that would not cost us an arm and a leg. Truly appreciated for guidance and great suggestions, she was better than a paid tour guide! read more

People Discount Souvenir is such a wonderful local souvenir shop!! Mary is the loveliest lady with great recommendations for food, shopping, and so forth in the area. My partner and I chatted with her for a bit while we browsed the large variety of items in store, all very reasonably priced! There is a small parking lot out front, so you don't have to worry about finding parking or paying a $30+ daily rate to shop here like you do closer to the falls. We're so happy we stopped here! read more

Went to McDonald's down the street to get away from the Niagara falls crowd. Yelped gift shop near me and this gem popped up. Super nice worker and very informative of the Niagara falls area. Way better gifts than what you see at the main attraction area and more affordable. read more

It was our last day in Niagara Falls and we were on the hunt for souvenirs. We didn't want to go to the strip/downtown area because of the prices and non existent parking. As we were driving around looking for lunch, we spotted People Discount Souvenir shop. Inside, we found all types of goodies! I came to this store because I read a review about how much cheaper it is. It's true, it is cheaper than other souvenir places in the area. Best of all, I met Mary. She's the sweetest lady and so knowledgeable! She can tell you where to go to just enjoy the area from food to simply anywhere to enjoy yourself. What an excellent souvenir shop!! So reasonably priced -- easily half the price for the same things found in Fallsview and Clifton hill shops -- and the owner is just a gem!! Mary is so sweet, quick to offer a discount on her already fairly priced items, and so helpful in guiding tourists to more reasonably priced restaurants and activities. This was my first time in Canada and I left a little disappointed with the overpriced food and souvenirs within Niagara Falls. I decided to go into this souvenir shop to buy some gifts for my family and it became one of my favorite places to visit easily. The shop had so many options at reasonable prices. Mary welcomed us with a smile and the expected Canadian friendliness. There's a LOT of merchandise to select from and the prices are quite reasonable. You'll find the store is stocked with tons of t-shirts. We found magnets for our fridge and the kids got a couple of gifts. We even picked up gifts for our niece and nephew. While my wife shopped for gifts, I had an insightful discussion about a Canadian's perspective of U.S. politics. What impacts us (the U.S.) has a severe impact on Canada. Her views were pretty consistent with mine. read more

This souvenir store is located opposite a major shopping center, a short walk from the Lundy's Lane Battlefield. The business is owned by a very friendly and helpful husband and wife team. They are both very nice and pleasant people who care about their customers. Most importantly, the merchandise sold at this store is half the price being charged by retailers in the "Clifton Hill Tourist District". People Discount Souvenir store is approximately one mile outside of the main tourist area of Niagara Falls, Canada. A twenty minute walk, or a five minute drive, from the "Clifton Hill Tourist District" will result in substantial savings on all purchased souvenirs. I highly recommend this business. read more

Mechanized T-Rex. 4. Mechanized Ankylosaurus. 5. Two large dinosaurs from the T-rex family. The animatronics is pretty good. The robots are large, with pretty fluid motion. The skin is very realistic looking. On the down side, it's not a very elaborate exhibit. It's only 5 rooms, with some waiting areas between the rooms. The exhibit lasts 45 minutes. The prices are steep. Adults are $45.99. Children 3-15 are $36.99. So, you don't get a good value for your hard-eaned money. There are rangers/actors throughout the exhibit. They help make the exhibition a little more lively. The exhibit is entertaining for all ages, but is probably better suited for young kids (about 4-10). What would improve the experience? 1. Reduce the prices. 2. Give the rangers/actors better speakers. It was very difficult to hear what they were saying. 3. Improve on the backdrops. They are large drapes which are somewhat uninspired. 4. Improve on the lighting/sound. You could create much more dramatic setting by putting on some loud speakers. 5. Improve on the giftshop. Drop the prices, and add more items.

When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me. Much more reasonable prices than you'll find on Clifton or in the other tourist areas. They refuse to gouge their customers. Great selection with lots of variety and options. Very friendly and helpful staff. The clerk even recommended other local spots worth checking out (restaurants and stuff) that I would not have heard of otherwise. Also a locally-owned and family-run business, giving it a unique feeling compared to the chains and corporate places you'll find on Clifton Hill. Also in a great location, Lundy's Lane is easily accessible and an important part of any Niagara visit. Great experience, would recommend to anyone. read more

We stopped by to pick up souvenirs for family. We were greeted by the owner of the shop who was super friendly. We found out that the business is family owned and operated not an overpriced corporate owned store. We looked about the store and found the merchandise was great quality. The t-shirts had stitching instead of the plastic pressed decals. Even with them being well made, they were less than $15 dollars a piece! They had a great variety of items too. As a resident, I like to shop local so will definitely be returning with friends and family who come to town. It's located on Lundy's Lane across from No Frills. read more

Based on the reviews we set out to check this place out. It's a nice shop with lots of items. The prices were fair and reasonable and you will get some great deals. As a baseline, baseball caps at Souvinir City were over $25CAD, at the Skylon shop they were at the $17CAD level, this place was selling ball caps for $12CAD. We had a great conversation with Mary, the owner, and I told her she is famous on Yelp. She was so nice and kind and even gave us some free magnets. This is as "Mom and Pop" as it gets and I really recommend you check them out. You can tell Mary her friends from Staten Island, NY said hi. read more
