They are knit so the plastic thread is tangled in the knit and can't be removed. Then he ruined a pair of $400.00 pants by tapering them with heavy plastic thread so that the seams are uneven and crumpled up. Plus, his behavior is strange and sort of spooky. I found a dry cleaner on the corner one day and dropped off some suits I got from a thrift store. Horstman's had those $7 suits looking like they cost $100 each! I was impressed. I next took my king bed comforter to get cleaned. Again, like magic, they performed a great job in a few days. I am impressed with this small locally owned business, especially because it is the only dry cleaning service in Carbondale and it manages to maintain this level of quality service on a regular basis without extensive delays. She always tries to give me an approximate day. I just tell her I am in no hurry and please call when she is done. This works for me. I have no complaints and alterations are beautifully done.
