Shared parking lot. If you follow Google map instructions, it brings you to a neighbouring building. You will have to drive around to find it Clean and neat place. We were seated immediately and tended to immediately. Lady who seated us also greeted us as we came in. We both ordered unsweetened ice tea. And those came promptly. We then ordered appetiser of spring rolls, kungpow chicken extra spicy for him and for me combo mei fun also extra spicy. Spring rolls were deliciously crispy with good filling. And sweet chilli sauce Kung pow chicken was fresh tender. And less sweet than a alot of places. Still not spicy enough for the hubs but a lot better than what we've had here so far. My combo mei fun was delicious. Fluffy. With wokhei. The way my mum made it at home. They forgot to add chilli but made up for it by bringing me chilli. This was delicious!!! We will be back again and again. Gem of a find. Not quite sure about the bad reviews this place has. But it's pretty authentic to me.

Had a delicious lunch with my wife here today. The staff greeted us immediately and showed us a seat. I had the kung pao chicken with rice, hot and sour soup with an egg roll. It all was outstanding. The hot and sour soup was amazing and the chicken did not dissapoint. The restaurant was basic but nice and clean. We will be coming back.

    Mongolian beef lunch special

Really good! I'd definitely come here again! I got the Mongolian beef lunch special. It came out so fast, and with a very generous portion. I didn't love the fried rice, it's not bad or anything, but it's definitely not east coast style fried rice, it's definitely a midwestern softer, fluffier rice. Not bad at all, just not my favorite. To be fair I have only encountered 2 places out here in the Midwest that have the rice the way I'm used to from back home. If you're local, you'll love it. Came with a crab Rangoon, but no crab in it. Should have been called a fried cream cheese wonton or cream cheese Rangoon. That didn't stop me from eating it, it was still good. Because the portions were so generous I was too full to try the egg roll, but I'm looking forward to it as a late night snack :) The service was attentive and drink was refilled quickly, restaurant was clean and inviting. Instrumental elevator type music in the background makes for a pleasant time.

The food has flavor unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants. The crab Rangoon is really good! Good portions for lunch. It's worth a try.

We made our plates and sauce dishes for the grill and had them cooked. They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

The server took initial drink orders for two of my friends and directed them to the QR code to order appetizers/food--it was unclear. When I arrived a few minutes later it took a bit for anyone else to come by, I ordered a drink and had to ask for it multiple times. We basically learned by vibes we will be ordering our food online ourselves...which is fine but that needs to be clear upfront. I had to ask for side plates more than once, we received paper baskets, which isn't really ideal for soy sauce dipping. Midway through the meal we are told water is self-service too. I went up to order a second round of drinks for the table myself, and later my friend went up to get our drink tabs to close out and also to-go boxes as even tho you don't order the drinks online, apparently no one else was coming to our table to close these out so no idea how long we would have sat there waiting. I always consider myself a good tipper, but don't expect much when we are doing a majority of the work ourselves and don't feel like we've received any type of "service." I don't know if they are transitioning to this or struggling with staffing and cutting down, but last time I was here it was great service, and they had lunch sushi specials with soup/salad (September 2025). The menu appears to have changed along with service quality. All of that being said, the sushi is decent quality, we really liked the Oh my god roll that flames up at the table, that was our favorite. We also got the kiss of fire, it wasn't as spicy as it sounded, crystal beach, and monster lobster roll, They were all just okay, but I don't know if it's worth the time of self-service ambiance when you want the full dine-in sushi experience, this doesn't match the current vibe inside so maybe a better place just to get take out. Hoping this was just a one-off experience but time will tell. Did enjoy the beef gyoza and pineapple sake.

The wok flavor was definitely there. The order came with a fried rice which is just plain fried rice with a bit of soy sauce and wok flavoring. I was impressed with how authentic the food tasted and was truly glad I stopped by. There was too much food so I took the other half to go. I will definitely stop by again if given the chance. The chair was not very stable and if you leaned back you could fall. I'm quite small, as long as I didn't lean back I was good. The decor looked like a cross between industrial and a pub, not neccessarily a japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a full bar with mixed drinks, red and white wine and beer. There is all you can eat sushi - but we didnt order that as we were not that hungry. Hubby ordered a diet coke and I got japanese jasmine tea. Yamamoto yama tea that came in a nice ceramic pot with a ceramic cup. Drinks came promptly. We ordered age tofu, and fried spring rolls for appetisers. Age tofu was crispy and sauce for it was good. But the age tofu that I'm used to had a much lighter batter which i prefer. The spring rolls were a tad cool to touch- and mushy inside ( feels like something frozen then fried and left there - then lightly refried. ) not made fresh to order. We ordered the Kasumi and Nebraska. Sushi was well wrapped- combination of rice to ingredients ratio was good. Sriracha on sushi was a little odd. Both hubby and I agreed we liked the Nebraska roll a little better than the Kasumi. Condition of the restaurant - could be improved. Service - decent Food - oķ but not great.
