Have tried to come here now twice and told we can't come In to eat. They close super early and seemingly randomly so getting dinner at 6 or7. It makes no sense. We can't take any chances coming here and getting turned away at random times. Sadly, they lost two more customers. I have seen one table of two dining each of the last two times I've been in. This is our favorite Pho spot in Lincoln. The portions are huge, even the small option is enough to over fill me up. They also have bubble tea that my kids adore. The broth (the key to any great Pho) is outstanding. We live outside of town now and sometimes get it as take away, that is still a great way to enjoy it but I would recommend reheating the broth before you assemble the dish. Returned again to see if anything had changed. Ordered pho and it arrived bland and no basil. They then decide to tell me they're out of basil .. a lite late. That's 3 times in a row I had bland food and the server didn't seem to care at all. Disappointed. Really loved this place a year or more ago it's totally changed. Got my Pho On! When you get inside the yum-alicious smell lets you know you are in for a treat. Nice, friendly, clean place with mood music you can talk over. Minimal decor, comfy table & chairs, that encourage staying a while. We got the lunch Pho with steak, + egg rolls. It came right away. Fresh traditional soup condiments, large bowl of clear soup with plenty of noodles and meat. Not fatty, but with enough natural juices for great broth. Egg rolls followed within first bite. Husband ordered hot tea, which turned out to be jasmine. All were delicious! We were attended with a smile and just the right amount of refills and inquires. Our lunch ended up being $22 (b/f tip). We took home leftover soup and egg rolls for evening meal, which made our lunch very economical. This is great place to enjoy Pho. read more

I have been trying new Pho restaurants during my one day a week work day in Lincoln, Ne. When I was seated, I was placed in a booth that had not been cleaned very well. The table was sticky and had soup bowl residue on it. I ordered a large beef pho bowl. The broth was a home run, but the meat was a bit of a disappointment. The meat had a slight freezer burn taste to it and was extremely chewy. I had to spit a couple of pieces out because I could not chew it adequately. Service was great and timely. If it had not been for the dirty table and chewy meat, I would have given this establishment 4 stars. I will wait a bit and try to go back to give this restaurant another try. read more

But，today my friend got rolls from them，and again，hair. This place was great and a very reasonable lunch spot. It had been a very long time since I had pho, and this place looked amazing on here. I went with my California friend, who instantly opted for the Vietnamese pancake, which is apparently a staple. I sampled hers. It was unique and different, and she had no complaints. Pork, shrimp wrapped in the pancake wrap with lettuce and veggies. I, however, came for PHO! I opted for the house special pho--with beef, meatballs, and tripe. I mostly got the tripe for the flavoring, chunks of it are very difficult to chew, but I think it adds something to the dish. The beef was plentiful, not stingy at all. $6.99 for a ginormous bowl of pho, with side veggies cannot be beat. My broth was intermingled with some green and yellow onions for more flavor, along with the rice noodles.They kept raw cilantro, mint leaves, jalapeño, and fresh sprouts on the side to garnish at your leisure. Lovely. The table was flourished with a plethora of spices-samba, hoisin, fish sauce, pepper, siracha-a flavor for everyone's taste bud. I was able to appropriately spice my soup up without asking the waiter for anything. The waiter came and checked to make sure we were both satisfied with the dishes, and offered us refill sodas without requesting them. Great service. Nice, clean place. It is becoming increasingly more difficult for us to eat at Pho14. The last couple times we have showed up we have been refused service because of the time. They close at 8pm and we showed up for dinner at 7:15 and were told they would only do to go service. I have never been to a restaurant that turns down a 5 top 45 minutes before close. There were 3-4 other tables in there eating and we would have been gone before 8pm. read more

Came for lunch and ordered a house special beef noodle soup (pho dac biet?) and ice coffee. The pho broth is light and flavorful. And the ice coffee strikes a good balance of strong coffee flavor and the sweet condensed milk. Great lunch spot, would definitely come back next time I'm in town. read more

This place used to be wonderful. Over the last several months the food has gone terribly down hill. It's like they changed food suppliers or something. They did the most bizarre thing by making all of their egg rolls and spring rolls shrimp only. Who does that?! And doesn't even tell you before serving them? Made our second trip to Pho 14 today and, unfortunately it wasn't as good as our first visit. After the first time I'd have probably given them 4+ starts, but today we experienced some of that all-too-common "mom and pop" restaurant service that most of us have experienced a few times. Basically, our server was clearly a family member/friend of/whatever, and had no "professional" training, nor grasp of the concept of bringing the food out with proper timing. Nice enough young guy, and frankly the kitchen is as much to blame. Anyway, I got my pho and then nothing else showed up for at least ten minutes. We asked at one point and his excuse was that chicken wings take awhile to fry. Yes, yes they do. They were also ordered from the app menu, meaning they should be out first as, you know, an appetizer. Instead, I got my pho, and it sat cooling off while we waited. And waited. And waited. We had to give some noodles etc to our three year-old as she was getting impatient, so we ended up sharing from my bowl. Then the wife's entree came out. Still no wings. They did finally show up a couple of minutes later. Weird. Service issues aside, the food was as good as it was our first time in. Only real criticism I could find would be that the lemon pepper wings had what appeared to be lemon pepper seasoning from a jar/can on them. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but there was A LOT of it too. Super salty, and I'm a big fan of salt. Edible to me, but I brushed most of it off for the daughter. My wife actually ordered a noodle dish that she'd not had before and wasn't very excited about it, but the quality and presentation seemed perfectly fine. Not a fault of the food, just an unfortunate choice for her. I'm (not really) seriously considering starting a consulting business for family-run restaurants that teaches service. So much good food at these places but it just makes the service issues that much more disappointing. Despite all that, I'd still recommend Pho 14. It's probably 2nd or 3rd on our list for pho in Lincoln---pretty good considering the number of places here serving it these days. Just be prepared for hit or miss service. read more

The best Vietnamese on this side of town. My mom and I just discovered it shortly after they opened a couple weeks ago and have already been back twice. The egg rolls and pho tai are our personal faves. She really loves the spring rolls and the bun thit nuong cha gio. The jasmine tea is good too. The service is very prompt and friendly. Anyways, they have very friendly staff and great food. I recommend their palace chicken wings, fried tofu and then split a large pho with a friend. It'll be enough for multiple people.
