I liked how they were talking about protecting the health of their staff...somehow this issue doesn't make the news but the exposure risks for maintenance workers is really serious and Clenz was way ahead of the curve on this. OK, I admit, I'm particular---I want all the "seams" detailed (like where the baseboard meets the walls), the light switch plates (where grimy hands leave marks) gleaming, walls washed (yep, walls washed---but in my defense, I pay for everything I ask for!!!) For starters, the 2 of them spent the entire first hour in my kitchen, which is incredibly small. As a result, it felt like they rushed through the rest of my apartment. When they left I looked, and at a glance it looks like they did great work. However it soon became apparent that they didn't move the furniture when cleaning the floors, dusted around things, and really just kind of half-assed it. It was nice to have someone else do the cleaning, but I thought I was getting a my place professionally cleaned. I'm not thrilled to have paid for a job that I could have easily done myself.

I cannot remember the last time our house was this clean…read more We had our first clean this morning -- we scheduled a full-on deep clean -- and I am floored by the great work Kelsey and her husband did here today. They did all of the normal things, sure, and the bathrooms and carpets and such are all spic and span. But they dusted everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. They got every single dog hair out of our sofa, they washed windows, cleaned every glass door to crystal clarity, washed walls and every baseboard and every bit of trim. They did the insides of our kitchen appliances, asked what we needed and took care and time to do the job right. And the best part? I've just finished a long work day and one thing I'm not doing right now is cleaning my kitchen. I'm able to relax, take a deep breath (it smells amazing in here, btw), and just be. That's worth the cost (which was absolutely reasonable!) all on its own.

The goods: Renae's responded promptly and had one time slot that worked just right. Their quick response, time slot and review sold me. They brought all cleaning supplies and were very friendly. The cleaning was really thorough. Honestly, my house which is midway through a renovation, was never so clean. They were here for several hours making sure everything was just right and they offered a walk-through at the end to review their work. They also left a thank you card and thank you gifts that included, hand soap, sanitizer, face masks, tissues and air freshener (see the photo). The only down side for me was the price point for a small home and knowing others had estimated less (only had two bedrooms of the three cleaned so I could keep my dog in one of the rooms-my decision). Regardless, I'd hire them back in a minute due to their professionalism, extremely thorough work and great personalities.
