My wife found some pretty sun flower earrings that came in a nice holiday gift bag, where I found a shaped-metal ornament in the image of the iconic toy soldiers they have plopped in just about every corner of Downtown Deland. The lady working there was super pleasant and welcoming, and I will definitely keep this place in mind on a future visit.

Yet some of the worn items are vintage. My mom picked out two books for $1.75, crazy cheap. There are kids clothes here for .10 cents each or 20 items for $1, not bad. There were also deals on Christmas items, buy-one-get-one free. There was a selection of old music books here for cheap, which made me happy. For those starting out in a new home or apartment there are plenty of household items, kitchen utensils, and small appliances available for purchase. While onsite we also noticed a small selection of jewelry - necklaces, rings, and earrings. If you are in the area shopping and looking for a deal, I recommend stopping in.

I was not really shopping for anything in particular but I found some jewelry that I liked and the price was reasonable for those. I also found a couple of dresses that I liked and one of them was an extra large and I knew I could not wear that but she said try them on in vintage you just never know how they're going to fit. So the extra large I could not even zip! The size 12 dress fit perfect so Lucy's advice to try everything on was spot on. I ended up purchasing the dress that I could wear and I was so sorry that I did not try on the red and white shoes. Next trip down to Florida I will certainly check this little shop out again!

The prices are great; the selection of fantastic - great for the collector, or the casual browser! We had a great time. Staff is friendly and informative and the store is shiny and brand new! Most of the items are in excellent condition, although there is a plethora of VHS tapes, which I don't think are very marketable. I am sure Betty and Sue will adjust their inventory as they see what is selling and what isn't. Our daughter made a very small donation to help anyone that wanted an item but didn't have enough cash; she's a good kid.

I picked out a brand new unused roasting pan that I actually used to cook my Turkey this Thanksgiving. The lady working the register was very nice and helpful. She informed me the roasting pan I purchased was previously her mother's, so she was glad it was going to a good home. The store is very clean and organized. I will definitely come back again next time I am in in the area.
