This store is so jam-packeted it's impossible to walk through without wedging your way around overfilled racks. I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down by the fire Marshall. When you do manage to find what your looking for, you will discover that prices are astronomical. Small pocket knives are marked up 50-100% (comparing same product at other local stores). A small hip pack was 3-4 times more expensive than online. I realize brick and mortar businesses need to cover expenses but these guys are just out to rob you. Steer clear!!! read more

If you want shoes know what you need it works. If you have any questions at all, about fit, will you like it, go to REI. Once you leave the store you're married to your shoes. They make mix ups and happen then make you pay for them. Also They sold my neighbor a whole body bag for packing an elk out of the back country. In 1 bag, he asked for quarter bags and they gave him this. The only reason for the 2 stars is because they have descent hours. Not that I will be going there agian. read more

Good place for work boots and hiking shoes of all types. Great selection and variety including a lot of styles I didn't see anywhere else. Lady working in footwear department was incredibly knowledgeable, super courteous, and patient. She was really helpful with finding just the right fit to suit my needs and my budget. The store also has selection of outdoor oriented gear in general, including a lot of new and modern stuff not typically found in other surplus stores. read more
