Mt. Kim Black Dragon is a fantastic and super clean studio. They recognized many parents in the area were looking for virtual schooling options during COVID and were able to adjust their typical schedules to offer a space for virtual schooling. They abide by all guidelines: wearing masks, continually cleaning, and social distancing. My 7 year old son attends full time and has had an incredibly smooth transition into virtual schooling due to the support and highly organized staff at Mt. Kim. On top of his schooling, he has learned tradition, respect for peers and instructors, and has earned several Tae Kwon Do belts. My son has become fully responsible for his work and learning. I am very impressed with the communication between the staff and parents, the way my son has grown, and we look forward to continuing to support Mt. Kim Black Dragon for years to come. read more

My kids love it here. They are in the aftercare program and I never have to think twice about them being in good hands. The entire staff is wonderful and they are very fair to the children. The instruction teaches the respect and discipline. When ever I have a concern Master JK is just an email or phone call away. "Snow Camp" is also great to have. It recently snowed, but I needed to make sure I could still go to work because I was essential staff. I emailed Master JK and she assured me they would be open. Mt. Kim has been great for my son. His discipline and school performance has improved significantly since he stated then program, and when they had to shut down last march for the lockdown, they began virtual instruction and that was the highlight of our family's day since it was one of the main things keeping our son connected to his friends. Then when we needed someone to help with virtual learning support while my Wife and I had to work Mt. Kim was there once again. I knew this was the place for my child from my first visit. I watched a belt test and saw a student lose confidence while demonstrating techniques alongside a slightly more advanced student. Master An saw what I saw and encouraged her and I could see her confidence return. More than mental discipline or fancy kicks I need my child to believe in themselves. My boys started going to this school recently, and they love it. All the teachers are great with kids. They keep a great balance between strict and friendly, which helps a lot with discipline in a positive manner.
