MTA Motors in LaSalle cheated me and continue to do so. They "repaired" my car by sticking random, jagged pieces of metal in the throttle, for which they charged me $400. SEE PHOTO BELOW for their "REPAIR".
This allowed just enough air flow to get the car home. It was then dead. They would not return my calls or letters. I had a letter sent by "Office de la protection du consommateur", whom they also ignored. MTA is in their files as a business running illegal operations.
I took MTA to court and won. The judge actually laughed when she saw the "repair."
MTA staff ignored the court's asking for a response to my claim, and did not bother to show up at the hearing. Their contempt for customers and Quebec's court process is shocking.
The judge awarded me the $400 MTA had taken me for, plus my court costs. MTA is still giving the court and myself the finger by not paying what they have been legally ordered to.

MTA is in violation of two Consumer Protection laws. They are ignoring the Court judgement, refusing to pay what they are legally required.
As for my car, it turned out the problem was with the fuel pump, at the other end of the vehicle. MTA didn't even have a clue what could be wrong, as they obviously did not do the diagnostics I paid for. Another mechanic has had it running just fine for over a year now.
In retaliation for my trying to collect my court-ordered money, MTA has created a fake Facebook profile mocking me.
