If you need to get to the Coney Island bound R train you may need to take the F/G platform to get there, which seems to be confusing for some. Overall, a pretty decent subway stop given that the chances that all three trains (F/G/R) are not operating is low. There is a booth where you can talk to an employee in the above-ground station on the east side of 4th avenue and another one at the below-ground Manhattan-bound R entry point also on the east side of 4th avenue. There's one guy who cleans up the trash inside the station who is hilarious and will tell you stories.

D is for degrading experience!!…read more Weekends are problematic to strap hangers entering Brooklyn as it is re-routed on the N line beginning 36th Street to the very last stop- Coney Island Stillwell Avenue. Strap hangers who need the D train are then forced to take the D train going towards Manhattan to their desired stop. Upon arriving at Coney Island Stillwell Avenue, this train stalled for ten minutes due to so-called "signal problem" to become sitting ducks. Aggravating and total frustration for a complete waste of time travel!!! However, at the 18th Avenue station there are two beautiful lighted glass art on the wall.

My lane has stairs, so I had to use the side ramp, and there were no clear instructions on where stroller or wheelchair users should board. When the gate opened, I tried to check in my ticket, but a lady working the line pointed with her chin toward the regular line and ask if I saw it in a very dismissive way, even though I clearly couldn't use the stairs. I was then made to wait until everyone else had boarded. If all boarding lanes are not accessible, there should be a clear and fair process for wheelchairs and strollers. People with no other option shouldn't be treated as if they're doing something wrong or made to wait last just because there is no clear accessible boarding system in place.

Not manned, but there are blue light kiosks for emergencies. Everytime I step on the Q, I swear the cleaning team has just stepped out the other door. Every morning it is freshly mopped and I want to be sure they know how appreciative I am and I spoke to others who agreed with me while we sat there. Masks are required, for good reason - too many people in a closed subway car - I wish everyone ALWAYS wore masks on there!!

Each figures unique fine details tell a different story, easy to overlook if you rush through the station. Begun just before 9/11 and finished a couple years afterwards, the title also gives a nod to New Yorkers continuing afterwards plus their outgoing personalities and lively nature. Given this always busy Prince Street station provides close subway access to the SoHo shopping district, it could benefit from MTA installing elevators! When I got off the plane from Las Vegas to JFK, I picked up my luggage and walked over to the tram. There was two different trams going, and the one I was getting on was the Howard Beach AirTrain route. The Howard Beach AirTrain route offers a nearly nonstop, 15 minute link from Terminal 5 to the subway at Howard Beach, with simplicity, platform screen doors, and round the clock availability. The Howard Beach line originates at Howard Beach station, travels through Lefferts Boulevard, moves into Federal Circle, and then enters the terminal loop, stopping at Terminals 1, 4, 5, 7, and 8 in that sequence. Travel between terminals is free! There are seats in the Tram, but it can get busy during the morning hours or in the evening. When I arrived in around 7:00 P.M, its pretty empty. Once I arrived at the Howard Beach stop, I went down the escalator, to the ride share app pickup location. It's a seamless ride!
