My mobile-Ceullar phone tend to have one bar and lacks my signal and not to brag i have vey good phone company provider , and next thing what makes it awkward these stations are located outside not inside the tunnel , any how i usually sometimes use this station when I'm transferring to the slow bus the B8 bus , there few restaurants in the area as well and there beautiful victorian Flatbush houses located in the area , the council members need to protect houses in Flatbush as landmarks !!!!

The station itself lets you take a tunnel to go shopping. Basically this is open air. It serves the B and Q Trains. The tracks both have express and local trains. B runs on the express. This is only on weekdays. Q runs on the local. This is only on weekends. It's in the Ditmas Park area. There's a few decent places in the plaza you can check out. It has a few banks. Right outside the station is the post office. There's a few coffee shops, a Mexican restaurant, and pizza place.

The station was clean and I loved the nostalgic wall if you will highlighting,, of course, Prospect Park. The Carousel is one special highlight of the Park as well as the glorious Boathouse utilized for weddings. The station sits between Ocean Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. The sign for the Bklyn Botanical Garden reminds you that the Garden is roughly a ten minute walk from this station. I believe it leads you the back entrance of Garden at Eastern Parkway. I also loved the old colored tiling that dotted the interior and exterior of Station. Another great aha moment is if I wanted to take a bus back to Bay Ridge, the B16 is located outside the station; it's good to have alternative mode of transportation. In addition, there are a plethora of restaurants outside the station. Best thing: 2 minute walk to Prospect Park!

As Eugene pointed out in his review, the bathrooms are disgusting. The situation is made worse by some of the homeless people who seem to live under the steps next to the Chase Bank and throw their garbage all over the place. Quite often people smoke in the stairwells and on the platform and in the winter people huddle around the one small heater. But I fear that refurbishing will only be successful if the station is then better patrolled by the transit police. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2018: Refurbished station much nicer but bathrooms still smell and are disgusting!

We needed a ride from Brooklyn to Manhattan to bring our cat to the veterinarian. We never take car…read moreservice but this time, we needed a ride since we had a pet and don't want to try the subways. So we took a chance and found this car service. We arranged the ride 2 days before with dispatch and called day before to confirm. So on day of, the driver let us know he will be here in 6 minutes and gave all info including his name and what car it will be. Driver Ernesto came exactly on time and was super nice. We got there in 45 minutes, No problem. After our vet visit, we texted Ernesto and we immediately got a message saying a car can be there in 42 minutes to bring us back home. Someone called and asked if we will wait and a car will come to pick us up. We said yes we will wait since they are coming from brooklyn. Guess what, a car arrived in about an hour since it was rush hour, different driver and car. Communication was excellent. Even with the heavy traffic, driver was nice and accommodating, good air conditioning, drove fast and we got back to Brooklyn in about an hour 15 minutes. All went well and happy to say we had a good experience.
