Last summer my friend and I set out to hit every Frenchys between halifax and Weymouth in the same day. (This summer we're making a weekend out of it to reach more) Anyways, she convinced me to stop in here. She, like me, is a huge thrifter and said this place was amazing. I hadn't been in years. I was doubtful, but if I trust anyones thrift opinion, it's hers. We stopped in and I was so happy we did! This is up there with favourite Frenchys! Their dress selection is large and varied with sizes and brands. I'm a big dress shopper, so a good dress selection is important to me. Like every other Guy's Frenchys they dump new items every hour. This place is really clean and there isn't a ton of bins compared to other locations, but enough to keep you busy for a while! You can easily loose an afternoon searching through these bins. This Frenchys also has a lot of knick knacks and misc items to rummage through, which I love!

They are all located on or just off Highway 1 which makes for an easy drive. For some reason the valley Frenchys have the absolute best selection compared to the Halifax stores. I've found my best pieces here. Land's End, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, BCBG Max Azaria, and FCUK are just some of the brands I've found and bought. All clothing is priced less than $10. There is a handy price list in each change room and by the cash. There is a definite art to rummaging at Frenchys. Every one has their own style. Some dig to the bottom, some neatly pile rejects, others create towers that eventually sway and collapse. I prefer the one corner method. I chose and corner and work outward to ensure maximum coverage, like one would wash a floor. I can do a bin in five minutes or less. By the time I've looked through each bin and am ready to try on my finds the staff are diligently restocking on the hour. You really could spend all day in the store. In addition to clothing I've found quite a number of good books here. A very nice pictorial encyclopedia of cats in fact. I usually have the most success with the sweaters, tops, dresses, skirts, and blouses. I find the pants and shoes to be quite lacking at all locations. Most times the shoes are simply too beat up and the pants too out of style. The best parts about Frenchys is the selection, the brands, and the constant replenishment. Whenever I take friends along we are both always able to find something, even if our styles are completely different.

The man who I presume owns the store is the only person (before today, there was a woman with him) I had ever met behind the counter. Quick with suggestions and reviews, he's a great small business owner, and it shows. He's personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Business is tough, but this place has been around a while now and seems to be doing quite well, and I'd like to think it's mostly owed to him. I hope this place sticks around for many years to come. It may not be as big as some of the other places in town, but their selection is excellent. This tiny store is stacked! Definitely worth the drive from the city or a look-see when you're in the area.

This doesnt have any reviews- So I'd thought I'd write one…read more Very awesome Taxi service, always came within 10 minutes of inital order from Windsor, always available for my late shifts before I got a better mode of transportation. Was incredibly easy to reach, if they did not pick up when you called you could text and they would respond. Or you could just text if you aren't a calling person. Anything after 12 does have a slight bump up in price but considering the fact this is like only a few dudes who are working together I think that is totally reasonable. My only complaint/critism is that the car didnt smell great, very intensely of BO, which makes sense considering its gonna be full of people all the time. But I would just think that maybe an air freshener wouldnt hurt. But I am also super sensitive to smells as well so theres that, overall a fantastic service :).
