We chose to stay in a cabin as friends were staying here in a caravan. The website is a little confusing as there is reference to bringing you own sheets and towels but we were pleasantly surprised to see that this was not the case. At $95 overnight on a Saturday evening, the price is OK. However, shopping around looking at the motels, I think might be better value.
The cabin is a box divided at one end with a bathroom containing a shower, sink and loo. The water pressure is poor and the shower area is tiny but you can have a hot shower. Don't put anything on the floor as the shower curtain funnels some water outside the shower area. There are plenty of shelves and hooks to hang towels.
The bedroom is shared with the kitchen with a little area sectioned off near the door and TV with a little dining area. The bed was OK and there were extra pillows in the cupboard. Unfortunately there is nowhere (not even in the cupboard) to hang clothes longer than a shirt.
It is a short walk to the main road and information centre in Mudgee.
It is a popular place to stay and was booked out. read more
