had a transmission rebuilt, in September. I took my car back to them 3 times because it wasn't running as it should. now in January I have a major transmission leak and need work done. I've been coming here for years for repairs on various vehicles and am completely satisfied with their service. Just this week I took my Town & Country in for an intermittent battery light issue. It was after 4:00 pm and they said they would look at it first thing in the morning. By the time I drove home they had called with an estimate, which I okayed. By 8:15 the following morning the work was done! I have never had them try to upsell me, or pressure me to get unneeded service. The old grumpy man at the front desk gave me a death stare for asking for an estimate on the cost of work. "We will tell you after we take everything apart" he says. I was told that I put words in the mouth of one of the workers when I simply restated what I was told. He/they will lie to try to force customer(s) into paying for repairs! The paperwork is insufficient or not prepared. They want to pass anything on to customers by word of mouth. If you are paying then you should know what and why the estimated charges. They try to pressure sale. Their method is to rush sale/repair(s) to overcharge customers. Why pay $2,500 for a used part when the price a new part of the same kind is $2,800? Terrible customer service! Took my vehicle in to get some warranty work done on the turbocharger. After "fixing" it took it home with no actual fix to the problem. Took it back in and had them do another $2000 worth of work replacing the turbo. Took it home,....still not fixed. Took it to another shop and paid them $150 to tell me all the issues still wrong with it because of the work that Muffler Man did incorrectly. Wouldn't recommend anyone going here. read more

This is a good place to bring your car. I Went to this location for an oil change and brake pads they let me bring my own oil and parts i did not end up getting my pads replaced because i needed rotors and i did not have them. They got my car done for me with enough time for me to wash my car before going to work but before i left i asked the gentleman at the front desk to look at something for me he noticed my hood was not shutting properly so he fixed it for me(for free) now my hood shuts like a dream i will be returning for my brakes and any other repairs they have reasonable prices and there staff are easy to deal with read more

I sent my son to you for work on his Jeep. We have spent over $2600 with you this past month. My son brought his jeep in yesterday and told the young man with the "Tat's" to do a inspection on his Jeep....well when he went to pick up the Jeep the guy that drove it out had no idea that he was supposed to check the frame, etc. Another $250 and now his drivers side signal does not work. Do you not check for things like this. I have been a customer with you for many, many years and this really disappoints me. I tried to call got no answer. Half work done on a full brake job - Bought my car 2 years ago at that time rotors, calipers and pads were all replaced. Got the squeak on pads, so called to get a $130 price quote for pads all the way around. Received a phone call telling me the rear rotors were shot and it would cost more to replace, gave the ok. Got a 2nd call that driver rear caliper was sticking would cost more than more to replace, gave the ok. Finally got the call to pick up my car. Paid a total of $463 cash. Drove my car back to work to hear the same squeaks that I took it in for originally. Was really angry when I noticed they didn't even bother to touch the front pads. Called and was told my fronts looked fine so nothing was touched up front. Still have squeaking and vibration when I hit the brakes! NOT HAPPY! NO ROTORS GIVEN BACK OR SHOWN! WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER MUFFLER MAN! read more

took my Buick lesabre in Saturday morning, told desk person my car was lurching forward when I accelerated to around 35 mph a couple of days earlier. he said "is it doing it right now ". I said not this morning but it was very noticeable 2 days ago. he said there's nothing we can do if it's not doing it now, it would be a waste of our time. I said I read possible problem could be the spark plugs, clogged fuel injectors, the fuel line, or the fuel pump, couldn't you check those things? he said "no there's nothing we can do, bring it back while you have the problem ". very rude and not helpful at all. very poor service. Went into get my power steering fluid line replaced, for 2 parts and labor they wanted $400.00 the flint location on Davison road that at that time I didn't have, a week later the line breaks completely and I have to go to the one in Clio, because it was where it break happened, same 2 parts and labor and they charged me $140.00... now because I'm a woman they completely took advantage and tried to price gouge me...me and my family will never trust this place again. read more

Been taking my car there for years and recommended my family and friends . They Have never been friendly but now they are flat out rude and disrespectful. They made a mistake I pointed it out and was just wanting it fixed correctly and I got treated with anger.
