The lack of respect by other dog owners here is clearly lacking at this park. We ended up leaving early because of all the dog feces. I only would like to come back and try the adjacent trails when it is nicer weather.

These are some nice trails to roll your mountain bike on. I hopped onto the singletrack trail and…read moredang: It was a doozie within seconds. The skinny trail almost immediately points upward. In fact, there were quite a few times, where I just had to pull my feet out of the pedals & walk a little. Overall, I probably had to walk about 10 times going uphill. But---once you turn around. The roller coaster is on! I'm a bit of a fraidy cat, but I barreled down the trail pretty fast. I'm not a veteran of singletrack, so I had to really look out for roots, big rocks, holes, etc.---cuz I didn't want to eat it. So it took about 20min up this trail and about 5min down. It was a workout and hella fun downhill. There are a few ladder bridges and other types of bridges on the single track trail. If you want some serious dirt, give these trails a try. I also took the road/bigger trail which is at the very bottom of the gulch/valley. This is more of a road, and it's fairly straight and it goes up from the trailhead (paralleling the train tracks). So, there is talk of selling off this land for development. That would be a total shame Check out the website for this area and get the lowdown on this trail system's future. Hopefully Mukilteo will by this area and keep it as a cool place to hike and ride.

There are limited parking spaces available, and you have to pay for parking from 8am-8pm. The first hour is $2.25. Pretty reasonable for the lighthouse, view, park to walk the dogs and clean public restrooms. The lighthouse was closed when we visited. From the signs, it looks like it's only open through September, so we just missed being able to go inside the buildings and gift shop. The grounds are kept so nicely...lawn edged, and beautiful flowers, some still in bloom when we visited. Overall a very cute and quaint lighthouse. Would highly recommend a visit!

I live far where I have to take a ferry across the water to get to seattle/everrett area. Unfortunately because of the ferry system and events occurring downtown the boats were over an hour late. With this location I had initially put a request to drop off my dog at 3pm Saturday and pickup Sunday afternoon. But due to the ferry system I was very late but luckily The company was very accommodating and were understanding of the traffic situations I sadly didn't reach the location until 8pm, happily They have someone at the location 24/7 to watch all the pups and help take my dog in for the night. They keep you updated with texts and photos of your doggy so you know they are safe and even have a live cam you can monitor your dog with. He received spoiled treats and a lot of exercise and socialization. He could play all day. Picking him up was smooth as well. They gave me a update of his night He passed out on the way home tail still wagging. Picking him up he looked happy and excited 10/10 would recommend and go again

This park is in a farming area so you can see livestock in the areas. There is a small parking lot and parking on the side of the road. There are open fields with blackberries scattered in the park with two separate dog areas. The smaller area appears to be for shy dogs. I went to the bigger park. I was disappointed to find poop in numerous spots. I stopped picking them up when I ran out of my own bags. Please- people- pick up your own dog's poop!! You will need to bring your own water and plastic bags.

A pleasant beach by the lighthouse. It's also near Ivar's and Diamond Knot Brewery, nice stops for…read morebefore or after. We grabbed some soft serve and walked with it to the shore. Found a perfectly located bench not too far from the lighthouse, & enjoyed the rest of our cone with beautiful views. The beach is long and narrow. Tons of people were there and some used the bonfire pits available on the sand. Someone was playing music on their speaker, it was a fun vibe. There was plenty of driftwood, one of which we used for seating. We sat there and picnicked while spending a couple hours looking out at the islands, boats, ferries, kayaks, and people skipping rocks into the water. To top it off, there are a few structures with fairly clean public restrooms, very convenient! Definitely coming back to this beach, hopefully next time I can catch the lighthouse tour.
