This dog park is great on a dry day! But beware on PNW rainy days, OR if it's rained a substantial amount in the last 24 hours. This dog park is a big open field covered in dirt and wood chips. At the end of a visit, doggy is sure to be covered in mud. And the problem with that is, there is no running water at this park. So not only is it impossible to rinse your pup off after a romp in the mud, there is also no water supply for drinking. Lesson learned on the first trip. But after the first visit, I learned all these things. Now I know what weather I can go to this park and enjoy it, and also that I need to bring my own water for my dog! I would visit this dog park often, and every time we went, my Paizley always found playmates and always had a great time! My only qualms about this dog park is no water and so much mud during the rainy days! On summer days I would say this place is a 4-star! This park is MUDDY. Super big space for big dogs and a smaller one for small or "shy" dogs, which I really liked cause my dog is consider big but super shy. They also have two trails next to them so you have a lot of exploring options. read more

Dog park: Currently the smaller off leash area is closed. Not sure why. So i cannot speak to the small park. The larger off leash area is a great place for your medium to large size dogs to run around. Like everyone has mentioned, this is all bark/mulch and easily becomes a mud pit. It has not rained in a few days, only frosty in the morning and that is enough to make it muddy out here. Bring towels, water, and boots. I went mid morning so it pretty empty. Probably gets crowded in the afternoon and especially on drier days. Trails: hiked part of the narrow trail then decided to cut down into the lower trail about a mile in so i could walk across the other side of the stream where it is more of a road. The trailhead is at the dog park parking lot. As mentioned in other posts, this is a narrow trail that people enjoy mtn biking on. Not enough room for you and your dog to be side by side though. read more

Cute dog park with an agility course. It's completely fenced in and I could let my dog roam around with peace of mind. There's a main section as well as a "shy" dog section (great for smaller dogs, or if you dog needs a break from other dogs). As others have mentioned the grounds can get muddy especially after raining thus our rain boots came in very handy. One of my favorite dog parks. It's always clean, people pick up after themselves and their dogs. It has a beautiful view which is a plus. There is a smaller area off to the side that is for small dogs and shy dogs. read more

I recently discovered this park and enjoy the large area for the dog to run around in. Large fenced are with an additional "shy dog" area. My dog is not a big fan of the ramps and such, but if you have a show dog or one who enjoys the tunnels they will love this park. My only unhappy comment is the lack of owner control over the larger dogs. It maybe that the park is so large that the owners don't want to stay close with the dogs, however a few dogs intimidated my little one and I had to step in. It would be nicer if owners took responsibility for their own dogs, but for the most part all the dogs are very friendly. read more

It's not a bad park if you've got nowhere else to go. It's essentially a mud pit and it's not a good idea to go there if it's been raining in the last day or two. But it is a pretty large area. There are a couple spots for smaller dogs to get through the gate, so be wary of that. read more

Basically just a giant mud pit with some agility toys for dogs. Went three days ago and just walking inside my dog was covered head to toe I mud. I didn't realize how mad it was until I stepped into the pen and the mud sinks down about 6 inches. Go to lynndale it's well maintained and mostly grass. read more

It's a giant mud pit. Hardly any dogs there ever. However, there are a tone of trails that run the length of the park and along the railroad tracks. Not "technically" off leash. But it's always been pretty slow when I'm there. Just watch out for mountain bikers on the side trails. read more

This location is also posted to Yelp as "Japanese Gulch Trails and Dog Park", which is also what the local municipality names it. This is a wood chip covered, fully fenced arena with a few benches and a culvert for the dogs to run through. It's big enough for frisbee catching and a tennis ball throw. There is very little shade. This is a nice dog park with a large area to throw a ball or frisbee for your dog to chase. Has a nice mulch area so dogs don't get as dirty. The problem people bring their dog without a ball or frisbee to chase. They cost a few dollars to buy. But you spend most of the time trying to take your ball or frisbee away from their dog so you can exercise your dog. read more

This park is well maintained and is great for the dogs. I have to say that the people are not so good. I have a dog that grew up in dog parks and plays somewhat aggresively. The people at this dog park have no idea about dog behavior and basically ran us out of the park by harrassing me. I have never experienced anything like it at any other dog park. Today I came here and Most the time I come here On a daily basis I really enjoy this place unfortunately you get dumb dog owners that don't know common courtesy .. Or can control there aggressive dogs . While I was here today my dog like all other dogs sees a ball being thrown automatically goes running for it well he got to the ball first and this ridgeback almost a dark tan near red color wasn't in the mood to share & attacks my dog. My dog is completely submissive and young as the ridgeback lunged for him my dog just laid on his back and the aggressive dog continued to attack him , as I run over there to rescue my dog the female owner is barely trying to remove here dog off of mine she gets here dog off before I make it over there she leaves without checking to see if my dog was ok she drove a burgundy SUV license plate Colorado # 370 RRZ I didn't even have time to look at my dog and she was gone his eye was swollen shut and bleeding luckily I was able to get him home flush it out and for now the swelling is in control . On the sign it clearly says don't bring toys / balls likely to avoid dog fights Come on dog owners if you know your dog doesn't share or you don't want there toys ruined or played w/ by other dogs DONT bring them it's a fight waiting to happen and it's truly your fault for bringing them and knowing your dogs attitude. It's like bringing cake to a birthday and telling all the other kids they can't have some !! Biggest pet peeve at the dog park owners bringing toys & there protective dogs and expecting other dogs not to show interest in the toys/balls bring there toys to a place were there isn't others dogs if you don't want to share !!!! read more
