Mike gave me an estimate of $815.00 to replace my bathroom ceiling. When finished I was informed that it took him longer than he thought so the final price was $1245.00!!! There was no warning he was going to exceed the estimate , no reason given why it was so much, not even an apology for exceeding the estimate by 34.6%. He robbed me of $430.00!!! I asked Mike to seal a crack in my bathtub drain. He sent me a text saying it would take an hour or so to do a 2-3 minute job. He came the next day and spent 35 minutes in my bathroom. When finished he said it would be $100 for the fix. This is his second attempt to steal from me. Mike sent me an estimate to do my bathroom floor. He proved how unprofessional he is by sending me an estimate for $800 in a text with crossed fingers. That's how unprofessional he is! Couldn't give me a firm estimate after stealing from me. It was his way of saying he's going to steal from me, again. Mike was recommended to me but I no idea why. I hired him to do repairs inside and outside of my home but all he wanted to do was steal. STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT HIRE IRON HILL HOME REPAIR!!!

he was very nice and very responsive to calls and texts. he arrived on time for estimate and to do…read morework. i had a list of about 5 things i wanted done. he agreed to two. the other items he said would either be extremely costly and time consuming or that he just couldn't do them at all. of the two things he did agree to fix only one of them actually works. he fixed a gate and it works well but he didn't stain it so while it works great it doesn't look great. he was supposed to fix tub but it's still not working right. he only had one solution for why tub wasn't working when i told him it was something else he couldn't understand it and refused to investigate further after his solution didn't work. his bill was also confusing because itemization was not clear. he charged $125 for total. when i asked about refund for not fixing the tub he hemmed and hawed and stated it would only be a few dollars refund. he implied the gate was the bulk of the work and that in reality he was undercharging me. my suggestion is to use someone else or if you have the time that i don't go on youtube and diy.
