I have no issue with the painters - the room looked fantastic when done. However, the Left Moon Painting computer website and office need some improvement. I requested an 11x12 bedroom to be patched, wall repair, primed and painted the room. I expected this to include the window frames and the door frames around the closet and entrance doors. The website only gave options that said "closet" and "doors". I didn't want the inside of the closet done and I didn't need the doors painted. Painters showed up, did a great job but when we inspected the room at the end, the window frames or door frames were not done....just the baseboards. Now who paints the walls, ceiling and baseboards and NOT the window frames and door frames? Anyway, I called the office and was told it wasn't part of the original quote and that would be add'l money. After some discussion, the person said he would send someone back out and they would put 1 coat on the window and door frames at no charge. This was done. My recommendation to Left Moon Painting have a Project Manager call the customer to review the online quote to make sure it includes what Left Moon Painting will offer and what the customer wants.

The biggest part was to undo the work that a previous contractor did which was totally unprofessional and incomplete. They did an amazing job with that bigger project and made quick work of the other, smaller tasks too. Even more important, they worked really clean and were super flexible: we scheduled our project when our family traveling over the holidays. This cut our project time down, since they didn't need to take down and put up plastic sheeting every day. They were able to work with our schedule, and we came back and the house was super clean, no dust or paint splatters. Wish we'd gone with them in the first place. I tried to support the little, independent guy, but wish I'd gone with them in the first place. They were very responsive and gave a personal touch!

When he couldn't fit the large job in his schedule in the next 2-3 weeks, he volunteered to come out and paint our nursery that weekend on his own time so that we could get that room situated before the arrival of our baby. He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home. They were very respectful and friendly, and did a better job of cleaning up at the end of each day than any other contractors we have had in our home. He also insulated/installed new drywall and installed an epoxy floor in the garage. What I can easily say is the work is top-tier quality - his team's attention to detail and thoroughness is beyond anything I've seen in other painters I've hired in the past.
