This compensatory education fund has helped him with intensive therapy and this has led to some improvement in reading and language. Now the school district and their devious lawyers are afraid I will get my lawyers at Litman Law again if they continue to keep lying and hiding records. Seems many school districts do this now, and Litman Law was experienced in dealing with this problem. No other lawyer I spoke to seemed to be as aggressive, Some other lawyers talked of being friends with school district lawyers or that they were once the lawyer who represented schools against parents. I trust Litman Law, and they have also worked on my estate plan with a special needs trust for my son. Their fees were well below some other law firms, at $350 an hour, and they accepted my charge card. I got my fees reimbursed by the school district in full, and got mileage points. Litman Law asked that I get all my son's school records first and then call them for a free 1/2 hour appointment. Once I discovered how much the school district was hiding from me about my son, I will never do this again with Litman Law. They met with me at night and could always be reached by telephone to answer questions. If you need a lawyer for a child with special needs, Litman Law is the best call you'll ever make.

I really never write a review and mostly because of my experiences with people or places have NOT been worth any real effort. Though let me share this experience with anyone wondering. I contacted Gerry Mullaney in 2014 after a really really bad accident that happened while I was taking my children to school. The accident wasn't my fault though I had to go through a few surgeries. I had been a great driver without any previous incidents for 28 yrs. Gerry took care of this with such professional speed. Settled the case within 5 months. I was recovering and he even helped me (and my 3 kids, one severely disabled) not get evicted from my home. Though the story doesn't end there. Unfortunately, I had another accident in 2017. Again, not my fault though Gerry once again came through. Fortunately, the second time I was not injured as bad, though if not for this amazing lawyer. I really wouldn't have survived. Gerry was not only my lawyer, though he became my friend. He really cared and helped me through it all. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this law office. I am only going to refer people to Gerry and his Brother. They are the BEST lawyers around and I can say that cause there are several lawyers in my own family that do not come even close. I came by way of Marty Mullaney through a friend. A friend who also happens to be a highly respected attorney. What started out as a simple divorce, became a very complicated and highly confrontational matter. In retrospect, I would not have wanted anyone else representing me other than Marty. He was tactical when needed and he also was very direct and forceful when necessary. Opposing counsel filed well over 40 motions against me (contempt of court, motions for sanctions, etc...). Marty defeated every single motion. Although my divorce was protracted (because of the other side), I ended up with a majority of the assets, full custody (I am the father) and a generous monthly child support payment. If you seek out competent counsel that is going to fight on your behalf, you really need to talk to Marty. read more

There were many different parties to the suit and therefore multiple attorneys, experts and insurance companies involved. My experience with Scott was that he was the only attorney involved with this that frankly did anything productive to move the case along. Without him, the case would have seemingly gone on forever.
