If you're interested in rocks and gems, there is a stall in the back with a sign that says: "rocks and minerals". The man who owns it used to own a rock or a jewelry store back in the day and as a result has a lot of good stock. (He also sells coins, for those who collect those.)He was helpful and a pleasure to shop with and I look forward to visiting his stall again. Another stall, not too far from his sells vintage photographs. He had a interesting collection but unfortunately did not buy anything since my partner, who was showing me around the area planned to take me to their favorite spot for vintage photos. The reason I am giving this place two stars is not because of those two vendors. What they're doing is legit. I am giving this place two stars on the account of the other stalls carrying junk and that the environment could do some touch up. But then again it's a flea market so maybe that's asking too much. Tip: I would advise taking cash with you and not running your card.

It's just past Schifferdecker Park. This is a small, no frills flea market and fishing supply shop. I don't fish, so I have no idea how well-equipped they are but you may find it intriguing if you like fishing. While their store and antique/miscellaneous selection is pretty small, I found a couple of neat items with low prices, as did my husband. Hopefully this place will thrive! There's a barn just west of the store marked "Auction Fridays at 6:30" and it seems to be connected to this business. Unfortunately I don't have all of the details, but if you like shopping random flea market merchandise (or fishing supplies) I'd say it's well worth a quick stop as you pass through the area. Signage indicates they do take credit/debit cards, but no checks.

There's a fairly wide selection of items in here, about what you'd expect for an antique mall of this size. While other antique malls in the area have a larger selection, this one was still fun to browse through. It wasn't overly cluttered, though there wasn't much that I felt like I REALLY needed to take home with me. Not junk necessarily, but nothing that would improve my home or my life majorly. I also found that a lot of the booths were a bit overpriced? This seems to be a problem in the Joplin area specifically, as antique malls in other nearby cities (Springfield, Kansas City, Branson, etc) all seem to have lower prices on average than what you can find in JOMO. Still, there are some hidden treasures if you're willing to look! - I particularly enjoyed the booth close to the front with all the Pokemon cards. They'll make great stocking stuffers when the holidays come around :) - The booth on the left side with handmade ceramics was also awesome! Very reasonably priced and unique, interesting work. I didn't see a single dvd or vhs in any of their booths. Not even anything from the NES era. If you're looking for electronic collectibles like me this place is a hard pass. If you're looking for knick knacks from the 1960s they have that in spades.

It's owned by a Scottish fellow and his wife, so they went with a really fun Scottish theme & tartan everywhere...although small, it's definitely a cheerier version of the standard antique mall with dreary stalls. Debra is incredibly friendly and welcoming! On my visit, I only found a few little treasures I couldn't leave without, but they are still in the early days and adding new vendors. Of course prices and items varied by stall, but the quality was great overall (so much neat stuff!) and prices seemed fair, especially on home furnishings. I will definitely add Tartan Traders to my rotation for secondhand shopping trips!
