I have NEVER received any follow up call from Tom (the owner) or anyone from Mulrooney Moving since my original complaint call/conversation with Melissa. I posted my original review on the Mulrooney Moving sight and Yelp after I reached out to discuss my complaint with Melissa and she said Tom would call me back but I didn't hear anything. My review on the Mulrooney Moving website doesn't even show up (not surprising) and their response to my YELP review says "Tom called me back" which is not true. Horrible experience, although the guys doing the work were troopers. One of the Mulrooneys quoted the job after looking at everything we had to move and she decided 3 men was enough to move us. Supposedly they would have been done by midafternoon. They weren't done till after 9pm(with only a 20 min drive and a couple meal/rest breaks) and had to call in 2 extra guys since the job was underquoted. Ended up being almost DOUBLE what the original quote was. Luckily we had the extra. I don't know what people who didn't have the money and were depending on the quote would do. Sent an email describing my dissatisfaction to the company and never heard back. Never got an apology. Would never use them again, even though the actual movers were great. read more

I recently bought a home and needed movers to help me move my furniture. Due to my closing being postponed three times, I also needed to reschedule my move three times. Mulrooney was so accommodating. It was great working with them. I would recommend them hands down for your next move. read more

Movers were polite and fast but get a 1 star review for treating my items poorly. I was 8 months pregnant and high risk when I had to move. My parents hired the movers for me. We made sure to clearly mark the boxes stating what was fragile and what was not. The guys were really nice and efficient that is until it got time to unload my items into my storage unit. They took no notice to items marked FRAGILE. I had boxes of dishes and breakable knick knacks place on the very bottom that my boxea are now crushed and my items are broken. Irreplaceable treasures are now trash. read more

One of the Mulrooneys quoted the job after physically coming and looking at everything - they are the experts right!?! They showed up about 10 am but still charged for time since 8 am but they only had a 20 minute drive. They took ample breaks to smoke and lunch. I had everything but the furniture in boxes. Two of the guys appeared to have to be told by the third guys what to do. This happened on both ends of the move... SLOW SLOW SLOW - all the time I am paying (or assuming they will honor their quote). Ended up charged several hundred dollars more than quoted and had to fight to get a "partial credit." In addition several of my items were damaged (solid cherry wood furniture). Again after fighting they sent a repair person "who did repairs on the side." Most of the repairs were not done and those that were are HORRIBLE. I asked for another repair and was told they had done all they could for me. I have an email from them where I am blamed (yes great customer service - NOT!) for everything and that they had done more than was required. Morever they told me I was the one who damaged my furniture - funny since they were the ones who dropped my cherry desk on steps. I have moved many times with the military and personally - I have NEVER had an experience this bad and NOT customer focused. NO MATTER WHAT THE QUOTE DO NOT USE THIS MOVER - YOU WILL BE SORRY AND END UP PAYING MORE IN THE END! Just take the higher quote from Two Men and Truck and get quality service that is fast and if there is damage they happily fix it to your quality. read more

I had a great experience with Mulrooney moving house, at short notice, to Northern Wisconsin. After a short visit from the owner, I got an acceptable quotation and some guidance about preparation. I was happy with the flexibility they showed in responding to my short notice and the logistics I needed to facilitate me being at both ends of the move. Best part was the quality of the people they had doing the physical moving. I had the same lead guy at both sides of the move which made a big difference. They were all friendly, professional and accommodating from start to finish. They arrived at the agreed times, were fast and careful and all my belongings were delivered intact. The final price ended up slightly under the original acceptable quotation. All in all, the move was virtually painless thanks, in no small part, to Mulrooney Moving. I had a great experience and have no hesitation in highly recommending them. read more

This was by far and away ONE OF THE WORST companies my family and I have ever worked with. At first they were really nice to us and happy to take thousands and thousands of dollars from us to ensure that our antique furniture would be insured and properly cared for during storage and moving. But once they caused over $50,000 worth of damage they turned into the MOST EVIL people ever and REFUSED to fixed their mistake. A good number of our antique pieces suffered A FOOT OF WATER DAMAGE to which the company denied. We had pictures!! We had ROTTING ANIMAL CARCASSES in our grill but Sarah wouldn't reimburse the cost because she claimed that the grill, now a toxic biohazard, needed to be saved and could be cleaned and cooked off of!!!! We watched the movers BREAK AND DAMAGE piece after piece of appliance and furniture. Only one kid from California was decent and appeared in shape. Sarah would NOT REIMBURSE anything for which we didn't have an original receipt. This means the original cost could not include a warranty. Sarah tried to tell us that all our furniture was ruined BEFORE it went into storage, but luckily we had photos. She also never came to inspect anything herself. She LIED and told us that we didn't buy $100k worth of insurance, then recanted when we showed her the receipt. The mover shoved a piece of paper in our faces saying everything was delivered and HOUNDED US to sign it without allowing us time to review the delivery. He would not get off of our property. THINGS WERE MISSING but because we signed the sheet we were made culpable. $50,000 worth of moving/storage damage and missing things and we got maybe $3,000 back. These people have NO SOUL when it comes to doing what is right by the customer. If you dare work with these people. BE WARE: #1 - take dated videos and pictures of EVERYTHING before you move. #2 - keep immediate records of everything and make sure you get it because Sarah will withhold crucial documents #3 - Get insurance and get a copy of proof #4 - refuse to sign any paperwork upon drop-off until you have accounted for everything that was supposed to be delivered #5 - have available all receipts of everything you are moving #6 - don't move anything of value #7 - pray to God nothing gets damaged read more

We used Mulroney moving company to make a in city move. I couldn't have been happier with the service we received! They came right out and gave us a estimate, and moved us the next week. It was in the beginning of August, and on moving day the temperature was 97 degrees. The two guys that came to our house where the most professional hard-working men I have ever meet! Moving the refrigerator, washer and dryer & the entertainment center, out of one house and into the other house, on the hottest day of the year, I don't know how they did it! It was worth every penny that I paid them! If and when I ever move again, I will certainly use Mulroney Moving & Storage again! read more

I have used Mulrooney Moving & Storage twice and was completely happy! My bed turned out to be a little challenging, but the guys were able to figure out how to get it moved! They were also willing to moved it again, when I called about a year later! Everyone was very polite and professional! Both times, my experiences were wonderful from the beginning to the end!
