There was always a dull headache and 3 or 4 days of every week, full blown migraines took place of the manageable headache. Dr. Lydia was able to pinpoint the areas that were causing all the trouble and has given me tips on how to help relax the offending muscles in between adjustments. The migraines are few and far between now but when one occurs, I have a course of action and that involves an adjustment by my tried and true Chiropractor. All three of my children also see her regularly to keep their growing skeletal and immune system healthy as well as the occasional adjustment for dance related injuries on my daughter. Dr. Lydia's knowledge of dance and pediatric chiropractic care has been instrumental in the support and healing of these sports injuries.

FYI this place has recently rebranded to be Good Vibrations Yoga…read more Disclaimer: Before Good Vibrations, I have not visited a yoga studio but instead practiced at home, following Yoga with Adriene videos. I've been coming here for only a couple of weeks, but I am a huge fan! I live nearby and am super glad I decided to visit. I got a Groupon for 10 sessions and didn't start using it until it nearly expired unfortunately, but Andrew at Good Vibrations was kind enough to extend the duration so I could properly use all of the sessions, for which I am very grateful. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the classes are very small (I have been in a class with only one other student before!), which I didn't think I would like. However, I have really liked how personal the yogis can get--instructors will give guidance if you're in a pose that may be harmful to your body. And because the classes are small, there is a really great community feeling amongst studio-goers. Instructors remember a lot of students by name, which is such a good feeling - definitely builds up the community vibe. As a beginner, I find it really useful that their website describes classes and to which skill levels they cater. The mindbody site to register for classes is also really great because it not only has the schedule, but there are descriptions that help you find the class for you. Yoga Foundations class with Karen has been really great for my beginner yogi level. Another great thing about this studio is that there are materials that people can borrow for their practice - having bolsters, straps, and blankets available has been really great, especially since I don't want to spend money on my own for so many yoga tools. Though, it does definitely encourage me to get a set of my own... In general, I would definitely recommend this studio. I always feel great when I leave the studio, and I look forward to each class. Once my Groupon has been utilized, I hope to still be returning regularly.

During our session, she focused on intuitive guidance, conversational cooperation, discussed images, emotional impressions, and messages that she received... I wouldn't call it clairvoyance, but it's like she has such a strong sense of empathy; she sees you for yourself. She helped guide me to open up and address issues I didn't realize were still festering. Brandy is so easy to talk to because you know she's really listening and you are being well cared for. I left my session feeling like a huge weight had been lifted. I had so much more perspective on what I had been struggling with, and a clearer path to make my life better. Unprofessional, unresponsive, and downright rude…read more I had an absolutely awful experience with Bhakti Wellness Center -- and in particular with Guy Odishaw. What he promised and what he delivered were two completely different things. And his attitude and actions were rude, unprofessional, and at times, totally hostile. My experience: I decided to try QEEG testing and NeuroStim therapy, so I made an inquiry. I live in Hawaii and was having eye surgery (cornea transplant) and had to stay in MN for four weeks after the surgery. I planned to do the QEEG testing before my surgery and scheduled several NeuroStim treatments in the following four weeks. After discussing this plan with my eye surgeon, he said to wait until at least 7-10 days after this delicate surgery because it might be harmful to my healing. I relayed this information to Guy in an email. He had a really strong negative reaction to this, saying my eye docs and I hadn't done our homework, were assuming the worst, "proceeding from a place of ignorance" etc. I was shocked, but decided to take the high road and apologized profusely if I - or my eye doctor - offended him. His reaction: absolutely nothing. He did not answer my emails, nor my phone calls. But I went ahead and did the QEEG testing with Guy before my surgery, then had a follow-up appointment with him a week later. (In both in-person sessions, I apologized to him once again but he remained totally silent.) He scheduled 30 minutes with me to go over the QEEG Testing Results. (actually, it was closer to 20 minutes with his computer problem). I felt he was rushing though the results and I told him I wanted more time, explanation, and analysis. He said I could always email him if I had further questions. I expected to also get a written analysis from him - as was promised on the website under the QEEG Testing package. He said no written report would come, but that he would send me a copy of the full QEEG report. I told him I was disappointed in this, but he was in a hurry for his next appointment. So, I waited for the QEEG report. And waited. And waited. After a week, I emailed him requesting the report. Again, no answer. Three more emails to him and a couple phone calls, and again no answer. He was ghosting me. So, I reached out to a couple other employees of Bhakti. Both said they would talk to Guy and make sure I got the full QEEG Report, which, after all, I DID pay for -- it was listed as part of what I'd receive if I paid for the QEEG session! I did four NeuroStim treatments and I liked the Bhakti therapist who administered them a lot. I FINALLY got a copy of the QEEG Report, but it was only 43 pages. The Bhakti therapist said that was only a partial report; the whole one was closer to 80 pages. (Guy had confirmed that earlier.) I continued to ask Guy (and others at Bhakti) for the report that I paid for, but to date (4 months later) I still have not received it. It's clear that I will not. They promised to send it to a doctor on Maui where I live, but that never happened either. I have no idea what I did to deserve such treatment! Apparently, I offended Guy early on, but I apologized immediately and multiple times afterwards (even though I was not at fault at all.) And if he is that reactionary and thin-skinned, he really shouldn't be in the business he is in. Are these the attributes you want in a wellness therapist? I sure don't. So, I was not surprised to see several negative reviews about Guy here, and wish I had seen them before I decided to do business with Bhakti. I have worked with a lot of doctors and practitioners through the years, both traditional and alternative medicine, and I have NEVER met someone who is as rude, unconcerned, detached and non-engaging as Guy Odishaw. In our conversations in person and online it seems like he is just going through the steps. Or maybe he just didn't like me. That happens too. But if you pay for services from a company, you deserve for those services to be delivered. And I paid closes to $1,000 to Bhakti and got very little in return. In my last conversation with Guy, he finally agreed to not only deliver the full report, but do a short, bullet pointed "Executive Summary" of my salient issues. I suggested this would only take him 5-10 minutes. I'm still waiting on both of those! But I'm sure not holding my breath. I don't need a touchy feely type therapist, but I do expect respect and kindness, neither of which I got. I cannot imagine getting a massage from Guy. He has such bad energy. And the clinic itself has a really negative vibe to it and also noted in these reviews. I am writing this to help others avoid the horrendous experiences I had working with this clinic. And if you are now, or decide to go ahead and work with them, be sure to set your expectation really low.
