Even giving one star seems too much. After making an accidental booking for the wrong place and…read morerealising my immediate mistake, I contacted gambado to cancel and request a refund. They denied this as it is not their policy to refund. Whilst I understand a policy, I explained it was a genuine oversight and I would not benefit from a credit as I don't live nearby to use this. One kind manager did contact the owner about this but they refused to give me a refund. My five year old was left in tears as we were unable to then afford an alternative place to book. What an awful money grabbing business!!!! Please don't give them any more of your money!!!

The best play area I know of in Central London, has stuff for under two's and an amazing climbing…read moreand slides area for children 2-8 years old with loads of great fun things on . It also has bumper cars and another roundabout type ride. Best to go in the mornings if you can as the weekend afternoons are very busy, although most people like it so much they are okay with it. The other problem is that adults should be with their children in the bumper car queue because other children queue jump and the Gambado staff do not sort this out. This is of course very upsetting for children and parents alike. They should have a better queueing system or at least one staff member operating the ride and a second controlling the queue. The clever thing would be a proper queueing system which actually lines people up properly. However today there was a great staff member who actually stopped the queue jumpers and he should be applauded, he also really cared and was great with the children. It is also expensive however it is so good they can happily get away with it.

The animals seem very happy and have lots of room to roam around in. Our favourite bit is the pig race! Very clean facilities and friendly staff, we will most definitely be back again soon!

This was a great place to take the kids! We could have spent literally all day here: between the…read moreanimals to visit and pet, completely different indoor and outdoor play areas - and a fabulous indoor slide, etc, there was TONS to do, weather permitting. Entrance fees (when we went in fall 2012) for adults & kids 3-17yrs old: 9.20 pounds, Kids 2 yrs old: 7.60 pounds, and under 2 yrs old: free. Extra for the Pony rides and Tractor rides. Money well spent if you arrive early and stay as long as possible to maximize the expense. If you can only go for a short time, ask about the After school rate. We really loved the tractor ride (1.25 pounds per adult) - while it was a little hard to hear the narration (it was windy that day) we enjoyed the fun bumpy ride around the farm - They had some clever decoration in honor of the Halloween season. Little Hoppington area is ADORABLE: the animal village for animal handling, goat milking and various bunnies in their own "houses" that you can feed. So cute! And the adults turned into kids once we got on the giant slide. They even have a cute little gift shop which stocks kids Wellies/rain boots for 15 pounds. (no entrance fee to enter the Gift shop) PLUS: the food they served at the Old Barn Tearoom (you can eat there without paying entrance fee) was shockingly delicious. Most places like this have mediocre food. I thought this place gave generously portioned and well priced meals: My hubby, 3 yr old son and I shared a Shepherd's Pie, the kids mac and cheese (came with salad on the side) scone w/ jam & clotted cream, and a Ribena drink for less than 10 pounds. I'm a FAN.

Kidspace is a big indoor play area, with plenty of variety of things to do, such as a ball area…read more(not a ball pit), mini-golf, (very slow) go karts, trampolines and the like. Let me qualify this review upfront by saying that if you come here when the older kids are at school, this place would probably get four stars. It's definitely one of the better play areas out there, in terms of equipment, albeit a lot more expensive. Kidspace seems ill-equipped to cope with any decent number of visitors, however. On our last visit there, the queue just to place an order for food was massive, and the wait actually to receive the food was ridiculous. Anyone who's got a young child knows that it's a nightmare keeping them waiting for food, and there were a lot of stressed out parents that lunchtime. It's a shame, because the food isn't all that bad, but it's unacceptable to be waiting nearly an hour for it. I wonder if they're very short-staffed here because the receptionist certainly shouldn't have been working. She seemed to be suffering from a throat infection that she helpfully tried to share with everyone by coughing and spluttering over the parents and children. Lovely Christmas present, that. There doesn't seem to be anyone around to even keep an occasional eye on events in the play area. The under-5s area was invaded on several occasions by older kids, who proceeded to run amok and hurt several of the younger children. The system on the gate to the under-5s area, where the button is placed high up supposedly so that only parents can get to it, is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, since the gate is opened so often it might as well not be there. It's a shame, because Kidspace has the potential to be a really great place to bring the kids, but you have to really pick and choose your visits and hope that it's not too busy.

I really do object to being charged, kids yes as they are using the facilities. Its a very expensive day out but thankfully there are some sites where you can get discounted tickets so it works out about 50% off so i only go when i find those voucher codes
