The venison with potatoes and bacon was savory and delicious. The piquillo peppers stuffed with celery purée was a great appetizer. We enjoyed the perfectly crisp skin of the mackerel that was perfectly cooked. They also have specials that keep things fresh. Price for two with one drink a piece was 45 EUR. It's a small splurge by Berlin standards but a steal for the quality and hospitality. The space is well composed and good for couples and groups up to 8-10. I recommend sitting inside unless you enjoy fellow diners ruining your and their palette by smoking or being interrupted by beggars. Look forward to going back!

First night out in Berlin!…read more I came here with 2 others and we were lucky to have a seats because it appeared to have been full from all the reservations! I suppose this is quite the popular place! The reason this placed captured my attention was that it is a gastro bar...something I enjoy! TKOKOA is a Spanish and French fusion gastro bar...something I have never tried! So here's what we ordered: BREAD - Complimentary Slice sourdough bread that should have been brought out way in the beginnjng. I'm only complaining because we were starving and they didn't bring this to us until after we ordered :(. I was surprised there was no butter given; given that this is a part French restaurant! FENNEL RISOTTO (3 Textures) - €6,80 This would have to be my favorite out of the 3 because it's so unique and I don't think I would have ever orders it. Also it is called risotto, there actually is none. The fennel on this duh was made 3 ways: chopped up to look like risotto, cut into thin and wide slices to look like pasta, and creamed into a foam. The "pasta" fennel was placed lm a bed of the chopped fennel and was surrounded by the foam and I enjoyed every bit of it! It had a subtle creamy and rich enough taste with no guilt feeling because there were no carbs in here ;) SUCKLING PORK BELLY w/MUSHROOMS & GREEN APPLES - €7,90 I immediately orders this because I just love pork belly. The pork belly itself was good; not amazing but I enjoyed it enough. It was tender, flavorful but didn't have that pork belly feeling. The green apples tasted like chutney which I didn't care for but the I did enjoy the mushrooms it came with. All of this was placed on some mashed potatoes and gravy, which was delicious because the gravy came from the juices of the pork, which I also used for dipping the complimentary bread! Yum! GRILLED SOL w/AVOCADO CREAM - €7,90 I was quite impressed with this dish. As simple as it looks, the dish was thinly cut and therefore had plenty of flavor in every bed! The best part of this was the hidden spread of avocado cream under a bed of fresh spinach! The creaminess gives this plate that rich taste and balanced the safely flavor of the sol. I enjoyed this one very much! JACK DANIELS ICE-CREAM w/CHOCOLATE SAUCE & CHESTNUTS - €5,60 We were disappointed to how long it took for them to prepare one scoop of ice cream! I mean were they still milking the cow?! By the one we were going to cancel the daily special dessert they were already making it. This tiny portion was quite delicious. I didn't taste much jack Daniels in the ice cream and the chocolate sauce tasted like hot cocoa! I liked it but it took too long to be fought out. Although the staff were friendly, everything felt slow or neglected. It took them awhile to bring ha our menus, complimentary bread, and out dessert. It's a quite restaurant for sure and the food was tasty, but since portions are small (tapas style) I felt it was pricey.

Vino Y Mar located no so close to the center but close by an U-Bahn station, this made it easier to find. The restaurant is not so big inside, but sure have a good vibe. When I first walk in, I could really feel it in the air. The restaurant itself is very Spanish style, quite romantic and exotic. Soon we got our table, I was really excited about it. The waiter got the plates ready, then start the courses. The shrimps are really good, I really enjoy it. As they said, it really all you can eat, after you finished one plate, the waiter will come and clean it up, and it didn't take long the new one will be on the table. By the way, we have to use our hand the all time, but that didn't bother us, beside they will offer hot towels for us to clean up. We had more than 4 times. It was really satisfied, I was really happy and full. Although I could eat more, I decided not too. Don't want to feel sick during my walk around. The part I didn't really like was they only offer one kind of the dips for during the whole thing. I hope it could more options, even some sauces will the trick. Didn't other have much other thing beside the bread. Good thing was they will deliver more breads after it finished . The style of the shrimps are the same. But it tasted still good. The restaurant offers other meals as well, which I didn't try them yet, but so far like the food here. Sure I will like to come back for the beef or again the shrimps. The service here is quite nice, the price of the All You Can Eat meal was really reasonable as well.If you are a seafood lover like me, this is a place must visit. Thumbs up.

All you can eat shrimp and creme brûlée included on a groupon? I'm in! The decor is very Spanish,…read morewith cured pig shoulders hanging from the kitchen, wooden benches and candles in bottles to set the mood. They served freshly made bread hot from the oven with spicy mayo dipping sauce. The had medium sized shrimp boiled in some kind of herbal butter broth and they left the heads on...mmm..yum! Those suckers were so yummy...we ate two tray fulls until we couldn't stomach anymore. They provided hit towels so we can wipe our messy selves during our face stuffing moments. The creme brûlée was okay...it wasn't really sweet custardy like I'm used to and it was cold...not warm either. I'd pass on the creme brûlée and keep to the shrimps. Service was brisk and helpful, no parking lots...just street parking.
