They are dozen of water fountains (in the ground) that shoot up at various intervals. Go here on a summer day and you will see kids playing in the water. I take my boys here sometimes. We ride the trolley, get off on this stop and have some water fun in the summer. It is in the downtown area and there is a mixed crowd, so just be careful of your surroundings. It's definitely something I do each summer with the boys. Trolley ride, civic plaza water fun, Mud Island and A.W. Schwab's.
