I am unaware of the services since I still have yet to receive any. Yesterday morning I reached out to get a phone consultation with him & was told I'd get him at 4p. By 4:20 I'd yet to hear anything so I called & was told he was running behind on his previous phone call & was understanding. 4:45 hit & I was not nearly as understanding bc my thoughts are "I'm gonna let someone have my back in court that won't have my back for a phone consultation??" I then called again & was told (by the person that answers the phone) that she texted him to remind him of the 4:30 appointment. 4:30?!?!? I was told 4. She then told me he's still on the phone & I expressed to her that I was very irritated because I waited around my phone for something that was scheduled. Hello! I schedule calls & appointments too, the difference is I show up to mine. I decided that I did not want to hire someone that is unorganized with their call system because who knows where all of my court docs will go - could be scattered in several folders. To end the story I was never called at all yesterday & when I called today he was in court & I was told that it's "busy season". I was then told today (the day after not having my appointment followed through with) that I was being rude with expressing how frustrated I was. I wasn't rude, I wasn't vulgar - I was honest. Munoz defended himself saying was a "nice guy" & per reviews I see that, but I was not treated well by him. No apology for missing my consultation & no apology when I cracked a joke saying "you're the most difficult guy to get in contact with" rather he had a condescending attitude stating "yeah, we're a really busy attorneys office". I was arrested for drinking and driving, taken to the police station and released around 5am. My truck was impounded. Michael Munoz represented me my Freshman/ Sophomore year when I received an underage DUI on my motorcycle. Being a student, having that on my record was terrifying, loss of sleep bad. I sat down and had consultations with 8 different attorneys and decided to go with Munoz because of his straightforwardness and I felt that I could really trust him with my future. Fast forward nine months later I get call in the morning with Munoz telling me they finally offered the deal he was set on getting. They dropped the DUI charges completely and dropped it to a Minor in Consumption and allowed me to go to Diversion class. I was shocked. Im going to try to keep my review as succinct as possible. One of my biggest qualms about hiring a lawyer was them being mendacious at the consultation. Theres always that trepidation that a lawyer will give you vacuous promises to entice you into hiring them, only for them to inform you the actual reality of the court case after you purchased their services. However, Michael was extremely honest about what to expect and how the process was going to take place. EVERYTHING transpired as he said it would and my case was dismissed before the trial even started. Anna, his paralegal, always answered the phone amiably. I am so grateful that we found Micheal Munoz for our son's case. My son was charged with assault and disturbing the peace, both misdemeanors. My son is graduating in May 2023 and having these charges on his record would be detrimental during a background check for the job he had lined up. (The assault charge was incredibly inappropriate in this case, but I understand the police were just doing their job) Michael Munoz had the lowest rate out of 3 other law firms and we had a better outcome than originally expected.
