The moment I began to answer or put any input into the things he was saying/asking he would loudly cut me off or talk over me and on to his next subject. I am very aware of the number of years my loved one is facing and he was not sensitive to that in the least bit. The circumstances are a bit complicated, long story short we already have an attorney, my loved one received new charges and his current attorney wants the total cost up front to take on the new cases. We just can't afford it. So, we have been searching for alternatives. He explained to me that it doesn't make sense for us to have multiple lawyers asked me what we were paying them, asked how much more they want upfront and told me that the price they offered was cheap, not in a calm, educating manner, but in blunt, aggressive, insensitive manner. He then proceeded to tell me how much their services would cost. Seemed reasonable enough considering the large, complicated case but not once did he advice of how they bill their clients, what the options are, is there payment plans?
