Great place for excellent coffee and studying! Fast service and both levels are nice but if you want to focus on work or school the second floor is perfect

Must visit!- not sure if all cafes are built like this in Bama but I've been to cafes all over the country and this one over achieves in all areas. I came up to avoid the hurricane, and came here to do some work. Spent about 4 hours here with no complaints. There's just so much space! Plenty Options of coffee and tea - food menu AND wine! It's a crazy experience. This place was huge- two stories of open and comfortable seating. And the decor classy and modern. the only thing that could make it better to me would be a library/ book session. Give this place a try and more bathrooms upstairs but overall amazing experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A friend and I visited Mural City Coffee on a Saturday morning. There was a little bit of a line, but it moved along at a good pace. It was my first time visiting and the staff member suggested I try the salted caramel latte. It was the right choice! It was absolutely delicious! The latte was not too sweet and had a good flavor. There was ample seating both on the ground floor and upstairs. The more people that came in the louder it got inside, but overall we didn't have trouble hearing our conversation. We will definitely be back to visit!

The ambiance is super chill. There are glorious spaces to study upstairs. The selection of wine and tea is phenomenal! The service is great! The staff was super nice and friendly! My pastries were served warm, fresh and delicious! I wished I lived closer I would come all the time!

Great place to enjoy your weekend coffee. Bring your laptop or phone Sip on your beverage of choice (tea, coffee or wine). I enjoyed a blueberry/lemon scone and a cold brew. The brew was made perfectly. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were looking for a cuppa coffee and wanted to try someplace local. This location came highly recommended on yelp. It is a very large location and they have tons of options not only for coffee but for tea as well. My husband opted for a regular cup of coffee with a shot of espresso. I opted for a hot chocolate, but decided to add peppermint to make a peppermint, hot cocoa. We also opted for a cinnamon roll and their blackberry scone. The hot cocoa was delicious although I wish it would've been a tad warmer. My husband enjoyed his coffee, but he did get a 20 ounce and said that he should've gotten two shots of espresso. The cinnamon roll was good the icing was very yummy and not overly sweet. The blackberry scone was delicious and included real blackberries. They do warm up the baked goods so if you don't want them warmed up, make sure you tell them ahead of time. They have ample seating throughout the venue, and they also have outdoor seating as well. There is street parking available, and when we went, which was a Saturday morning around 10:30 AM we had no problem finding parking. But I can imagine if it were a busy morning or a busier day parking may be a challenge to find.

My mom and I popped in here for some lattes and cinnamon rolls. I loved it!! The open space was exactly what I needed. A lot of students and such studying. Some patrons playing games. I loved the good service, fresh food and quality coffee. This may be come my local stomping grounds while I'm here.

Very kool vibe here. Clearly invested quite a bit in this place. Coffee was perfect blend. The only thing I would add is add Sausage Egg and Cheese or Bacon Egg and Cheese croissant sandwiches for breakfast. Other than that the Blueberry Scone was on point and so were the seating areas. Cozy but not on top of wash other. Even had a fireplace.

What a vibe in Montgomery, AL! Great coffee and in a historical location! Lots of seating and folks working in their laptops. Glad I went!

    Welcome! Come right in!

The place is rustic in an ec·lec·tic sort of way. /ēklektik/ adjective 1.deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. What an amazing experience just walking in. We were both drawn to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is an abundance of very comfortable couches, chairs and benches for sitting and logging in. Electrical outlets were all over the place - talk about getting a good charge, yeah! For her: Loose Leaf Black Forest Tea. Enough to fill her little cup four times. Her comment "The best tea I've ever had." For me: Three Espresso Shots in Twenty ounces of steamed milk with caramel sauce. Ohh Laa Laa! Friendly? umm yes, yes indeed! What's upstairs? Oh my goodness, it's a chill loft.

Cozy industrial space with the BEST tea selection I have seen, and I'm always keeping an eye out for tea at otherwise-coffee places.

The Grand on Foster is an event space located in a historic 120+ year old building in downtown…read moreDothan. I attended an October wedding here and it was beautiful. I'm not sure what this place used to be, but the courtyard in the back looks like it was once a part of the inside of the building. All of the walls are brick (some of the exposed variety) with cement columns. The wedding ceremony took place in the courtyard. The courtyard is walled in with brick that extends two stories high. There's a fountain, plants, string lighting, spiral staircases that lead to overlooks above, and a couple neat little nooks and crannies. The atmosphere is rustic yet refined. The wedding was intimate with I guesstimate about 50 guests. I believe this venue can handle at least 125, however. Due to the small nature of the wedding and the walled-in courtyard, no mics were necessary for the ceremony. As guests, we could hear every word spoken by the pastor and the bride and groom. The reception took place inside in The Grand's two ground-level ballrooms, the Orleans Ballroom and the St. Charles Ballroom. The Orleans Ballroom is where the dinner, DJ, and dance floor were located. The St. Charles Ballroom is where the dinner buffet, drinks, and wedding cake were located. I don't recall who catered the food, but the menu consisted of pork loin with pineapple habanero sauce, baked chicken in a light lemon butter sauce, mashed potato bake, mixed roasted vegetables, spring mix salad, and rolls. Beverages included water, sweet tea, ginger ale, and Coke. The food was A-OK. The cake was phenomenal. I got seconds and was stuffed silly by the end of the night. The wedding was short and sweet, but still traditional and elegant in every way. I had a good time and consider this a terrific, simple, and classic-looking venue for medium to large sized events. Though there isn't a dedicated parking lot for The Grand, there is plenty of free public parking on downtown streets and in various lots. I parallel parked on Foster next to the Federal Building. Check out the directions page on The Grand's website for a helpful parking map: http://thegrandonfoster.com/directions/.
