When I entered the tea house I was warmly welcomed by the staff member with genuine smile. This made me feel better for the day. I ordered a matcha latte for my first time here. They offered sweetened (with honey) or unsweetened. The tea latte was mildly sweet and silky that you want an encore. This is a nice place for a cup of tea and in fact they also offer coffee also. They don't sell foods but customers are welcomed to bring their own bread or cake. I will come back again to try their other gourmet tea.

Steam Tea House is inside Donald's Market on East Hastings, it's the smallest tea shop or shop I ever seen in Vancouver. The staff was so friendly and patient. The servers are SO knowledgeable and very accommodating. There are SO many teas to choose from. They also have tastings for different matcha varieties.
