I hired Miguel Olea to install my kitchen cabinets, and he did a HORRIBLE job. He staple gunned…read morethem together and hardly used any of the steel brackets the cabinets came with. He drilled the handle holes on the wrong side and refused to pay for the mistake (I had to drive to the cabinet store and purchase the replacement myself). He failed to use the correct screws and he threw away all the corner brackets for proper plywood installation. He said to just drill into the cabinets which ended up splitting them. He also failed to screw-in all the drawers and drawer slides. He refused to install the toe kick and molding. When I tried to get him to come back and fix these things, he was either non-responsive, demanded I pay him more, or flaked on coming.
