Where do I begin? I would give zero stars if I could. I went to Dr. Pagete due to having a fibroid…read moreI wished to have removed. I also had a LOT of symptoms. When I explained my symptoms I don't think she listened very much. I then had a hysteroscopy to remove my fibroid. The day after I went to the ER and much to much surprise, the fibroid was still there, alone with a cyst. I went to see her six weeks later and told her about my excessive bleeding, the fact that my uterus seemed to have tilted overnight, and of course my fibroid the exact same size. She brushed off ALL of my symptoms (and did not respond to my questions on the patient portal) and refused to do a sonogram to look at the fibroid again. She said she'd look at it three months later, when I think she would have blamed it growing back on time and not her surgery error. She also, without even looking at my cyst, said it was nothing. Fast forward to two months later when I go to the ER in extreme pain. I still have my giant fibroid and that cyst they think twisted but untwisted. I finally got see a credible doctor, and he tells me the type of fibroid I have cannot be surgically removed with a hysteroscopy. He said even the best surgeon can't because it's intramural with a slight submucosal bulge. He said she managed to shave 2 cm off one side, but I still had a 5x6x4 fibroid. He also said she wasted my money attempting that surgery and she should have known that, that fibroid could not be removed and shaving one side down would give no relief of symptoms. Also, the cyst she said was nothing, was now 5 cm too. So I essentially have a cantaloupe in me. My awesome new doctor preformed a Da Vince surgery and low and behold, I had endometriosis so bad my uterus was fused to my colon and he almost had to remove part of my colon. He said that's why my uterus tilted and she shouldn't have ignored me when I mentioned it. Second, I had stage 4 endometriosis which explains all my other symptoms she ignored. Third, my ovarian cyst was so bad my ovary and fallopian tube had to be removed. The doctor said it was a mess in there. That's the cyst she said was nothing. And everything else she said was nothing. Not to mention I wasted $5000 on a surgery that couldn't even help me to begin with. I considered a medical malpractice suit but after all that I just don't have the energy. I had a follow up appointment with her that I cancelled via voicemail, and she sent me a bill for a no show fee that's illegal. I cancelled with plenty of time it's not my fault they don't check the voicemail. So no, she will not be getting that money, especially since I had to have a second surgery two months later before I died of blood loss.

Since my first…read morevisit, I knew that this office would be my home base for all of my women's care needs , no matter how far I needed to drive. I have always recommended this office to my friends, as the office is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the care is next level. Some years ago, I voiced my concerns to Dr. Shepherd about potentially having PCOS. She took my claim seriously and gave me a formal diagnosis, which is more than I can say about other doctors I had raised this concern to. The past couple of months, I have been going through an ectopic pregnancy, which was at first thought to be a miscarriage. Dr. Shepherd and Dana Wicker were the two primarily responsible for my care during this time. These two women were incredibly professional, informative, and diligent in care when it came to my health and the potential risks this could cause. In addition, they were kind and compassionate as my husband and I went through our loss and the health anxiety it caused. I can say with full confidence that while this experience was incredibly difficult and heartbreaking, it was made better by the bedside manner and care provided by this office. All that being said, I will continue to be a regular patient here and recommend to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

My husband and I made the decision that we were ready to start trying for a baby. For the 10 years…read morethat we've been together, I've either been on the pill (which gave me headaches) or had a hormonal or nonhormonal IUD. Back in my hometown, I was blessed with an OBGYN that my own mom went to and liked. Since I couldn't bring Dr. Coe with me to Texas, I was on my own this time. I ended up finding Dr. Lucero at Oakwood through a health concierge app that's offered through my employer, called HealthJoy. I told HealthJoy's chat feature what I was looking for and how far I was willing to travel. They definitely delivered here. My first appointment was at the end of March, to get caught up on all of the womanly stuff and talk baby-making. Much to my appreciation, Dr. Lucero wasn't just out to toss me in a paper gown and throw me in the stirrups. She acknowledged that seeing a new doctor can be stressful, and took the time to chat with me about what we were hoping to do. She patiently answered my questions, gave me time to change, and was very considerate during her exam. I decided to jump the gun after my visit and scheduled the next appointment for removing my IUD the second week of August. I was a bag of nerves, and was second-guessing my decision the whole week leading up to it. I'd had one removed (and immediately replaced with another) before, and the aftermath wasn't super fun. Again, Dr. Lucero read my mind with exactly how I was feeling, and reassured me everything was okay. And just like that, it was done! We also went over how things would work initially when it came to preggo time, how delivery would work out, and when my first appointments would be. I've been so impressed that I've already recommended her to three of my neighbors, one of which was already about 7 months pregnant! The reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is the front office itself. The ladies at the desk weren't exactly warm and fuzzy, and had that clinical way of speaking that could be interpreted as "listen and don't ask questions". I filled out the paperwork they gave me, said yes ma'am and thank you, and skittered off to the waiting room to wait my turn.

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews. I've been going here for roughly 15 years and I…read morehave switched doctors only because my original doctor moved away. Currently I see Dr Lucero and she is now helping me through menopause with hormone replacement. I've never had a problem with scheduling appointments or any of the front desk staff, they've always been nice to me. I also love that you can do your mammogram in the same offices and they usually are pretty quick with getting that done.

She listens, takes her time with you, follows up, etc. My husband and I both felt extremely comfortable and at ease with her from the moment we met. Second, she's a great doctor. All our visits were informative and through, and she sent us to a specialist once when there was a potential possibility of a complication, as a precaution. Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, is that she really cares. I know there are some doctors who push c-sections, inductions, cord banking, etc., but Dr. Mileur was all about "let's deliver a healthy baby". My delivery ended up being quite complicated - the baby was too big to come out vaginaly, but Dr. Mileur by NO means jumped to a c-section as a solution, until literally everything else was explored. She did end up performing my c-section, which was as smooth as could be, and the stiching was great - have been healing very well. My baby ended up in the NICU for a little while after birth, and she even went to visit him there (babies have a different doctor once they are born, so she literally went just to see how he was doing). She's definitely my doctor for all my future pregnancies.
