After resetting the furnace 3 times and changing the batteries in my thermostat, I had no choice but to call for an emergency service call. I called my furnace repair service that I'd used for 6 years. After explaining I had no heat, the on-call representative gave me the 3rd degree...Are you a customer? What brand? How old is the furnace? Who installed it? Then he told me he'd call me back. 20 minutes later he called to inform me that all their techs were out of town. My options were to wait a day or two for an available tech or call another company. It was minus 20 degrees Celsius!!! My house was sitting at 11 degrees!! I called David Murray and explained my dilemma. Brad at David Murray said he'd be very happy to help me out and would appreciate my business. Ted was on site shortly thereafter and had my house warm and toasty in no time and the cost was more than reasonable. AWESOME! Refuse to change, argue on on, offered to send inspector, I said send. Now threatening to tear out my unit. The install general details are sloopy. Outside base barely big enough. Unit on a 2 foot stand that should be bolted down. There are holes for bolts, they did come and put small screws in the base and #10 to hold unit to base, tiny screws not bolts. Dealing with Jamie, a jerk. The job was not properly done, minimal at best and refusing to remedy.

We have had multiple technicians over the years and they all have a different solution to fix the problems as of yet no one has solved the issue. The furnace caused a flood a year ago due to water not draining we had to have service master come in and removed my new floors that we just put in take out a wall to dry out the area. All of this took months before it was finished. We have had 3 floods in 3 years. Oh and the heat pump constantly is covered in thick ice and I was told I have to go out and pour hot water over it when this happen. One day I called because the heat pump was very loud and covered in ice, they sent out someone and he took a pick and started chipping at the ice. UNBELIEVABLE The last flood was a couple of weeks ago and the owner Rob keeps saying a technician will coming to fix it once again and they never call to let us know when. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed, zero customer service. They either don't know what to do or just can't be bothered. We have been very patient for 3 years but enough is enough. Turned out that it was a bad capacitor which he replaced. Total charge of $213.37 was a lot less then i had expected. They replaced my furnace and air conditioner 15 years ago. Even then Dows gave me the best deal around. I find them very honest to deal with. For sure they do not overcharge like some do. I fully trust them and will deal with them again in the future . This part when installed was not compatible with the system! D & K we're supposed to resolve this issue and still no word on when it will be fixed! Since Enicure has taken over the service has not improved! The techs will have to come out and switch the heat pump to cool for the summer and the switch it back for the winter! Buyer beware!

I was down to 12 Degrees C. in the house after 24 hours of no power. Mike came out Christmas Eve!! - in the middle of the winter storm!!! Cheerful and professional like last time. I am embarrassed to tell you how little he charged me - considering he had to drive to Cobourg from Port Hope. On a Saturday. On Christmas Eve. I wouldn't even think about calling someone else to look after my heating and AC systems. I can recommend them with complete confidence.
