I can't imagine how patients for whom paying for oral surgery is a struggle feel when she acts as if their questions about billing are an inconvenience. The doctors are very knowledgeable and try to make each visit very comfortable. Every now and then however I find myself waiting for a chair between 20 to 45 minutes which is just not acceptable to me. Today was a forty-minute wait and this made me quite irritated, so rather than this happening again I will go the front desk and request another appointment for a different day. When scheduling, I made it very clear that I would need nitrous due to dental anxiety. After arriving, I waited over an hour past my appointment time, only to finally be told by the receptionist--without any empathy--that I couldn't have nitrous because they had "used the last of the oxygen." This is not a small oversight. For patients with anxiety, this kind of preparation and communication is essential. To wait that long, after traveling and arranging childcare for a newborn, only to be dismissed so casually is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If you experience dental anxiety and rely on accommodations like nitrous, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This office does not seem equipped to handle those needs with the care or consideration they require.

Without a doubt, Dr. Molnar is kind, funny, pleasant, and above all, PATIENT. I have very sensitive teeth due to my receding gumlines, so everything hurts, even a simple cleaning procedure. Dr. Molnar takes his time with me at every single visit. I ask all the questions I want, and he addresses all of my concerns. Dr. Molnar even showed me how to correctly brush my teeth to avoid further receding my gumlines. And, yes, he also demonstrated flossing to make sure that I've been doing it correctly for the last 30+ years. :) Because I know that I cannot find a better dentist, I refuse to go to anyone else. I moved to Manhattan in early 2013, and even though there's a dentist right across from my apartment building (and plenty of other dentists scattered all over Manhattan), I still come back to see Dr. Molnar.
