Ask de from the obvious savings, the card readers at the pump have had a "new upgrade". There is indeed a label that states the card reader will hold your card for a while before releasing it. Well, o followed directions as usual and the card reader was idling (stating one moment please). After 3 trials of cancelling and re-trying, I gave up and went inside. What was worse was the white male , buzz cut (idiot) clerk that would say, "you are doing it all wrong". At least after noticing that the Walmart credit card I used was being recognized inside the station, he went outside and witnessed it himself when I followed every direction. Idiot clerk with the third grade education was still telling me it was my fault, it is because the system is new, the internet is slow. I told him o has been using this particular Murphy fir years without any of seldom problems. This bizarre scenario was worsened when the very next customer (female) came in complaining about the very same thing. Idiot clerk finally ran my Walmart card inside the station and o had to state and know exactly how much money o need to fill up my tank... really?
Never had such a rude, ignorant clerk ever at any gas station. Recommend he be reprimanded and/or dismissed. Also, Murphy needs to fix their card readers at least at this particular station.
