I needed a mailbox installed and had tried for 3 months to schedule various handyman recommended by neighbors. I finally took things into my own hands and searched for a reputable and highly rated handyman on Yelp. There were several options to choose from, but I was immediately drawn to Brian's business because it is locally owned and operated by him. Plus, I really liked his bio. I could tell he was someone who enjoyed his work and was focused on high quality outcomes for customer projects. Brian did not disappoint. Every step of the process was a good one. My first point of contact was through Yelp messaging. That's when I first knew I was on the right track because Brian promptly replied. Moreover, his communication skills were excellent from the get-go. He was able to fit me into his schedule a few days after my request. He arrived on time prepared with what he needed to do the job. Everything went smoothly, especially because Brian and I had reviewed the installation instructions through photos I attached to our Yelp messages. He was able to acquire the remaining needed materials that I did not have on hand. Brian clearly knew what he was doing and got the mailbox installed without any problems. He charged a reasonable amount and was a pleasure to work with. I had a great customer experience. I already have other projects lined up for him. Completely Incompetent -- Worst Residential Maintenance Company…read more This company should not be in business, especially not handling residential properties where people are trying to live comfortably and safely. Maintenance is a total disaster. They take forever to respond to even basic repair requests--if they respond at all. I've gone weeks without heat, had plumbing problems ignored, and electrical issues dismissed like it wasn't a safety concern. They either don't show up, or they send someone who does a rushed, half-baked job that barely holds for a day. Communication is nonexistent. Good luck getting anyone on the phone. Emails? Ignored. Voicemails? Useless. They act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging your request, and accountability is nowhere to be found. The properties themselves are neglected. They don't maintain anything unless it's an emergency (and even then, expect delays and excuses). Being under their management has been nothing but frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. If you're looking for a company that actually takes care of its residents and handles maintenance like professionals--this is not it. Avoid them at all costs. They are the textbook definition of a slum management company in disguise.
