I had a sofa, 2 slipper chairs, and 6 dining chairs to reupholster. They were well over 30 years old and were dirty, ripping and tearing. Murphy's Upholstery did a wonderful job. The pickup and delivery crew were professional, on time, in and out quickly, and were careful not to damage the floors and walls. The cost was reasonable, and the cost quoted was the same -there were no surprise charges when the work had been completed. I will use them again and I highly recommend them. read more

TL;DR I had an amazing experience at Murphy's and I would definitely choose them again! A few months ago I decided to get a parlor chair reupholstered. The chair had been in my family and passed down from my great grandma, so I really wanted a good quality job for such an important chair. I ended up picking Murphy's to do the job. I had a fantastic experience working with the team at Murphy's. I brought my chair to the store one morning where Tony gave me a quote on price and suggested I check out a discount fabric store for my chair in order to get a good deal. I picked out the fabric, dropped off the chair and waited with great anticipation for my reupholstered chair. It took maybe four to five weeks to get my chair back, but the wait was worth it! The detail of my chair is amazing and the cushion makes it feel like a completely new chair. If I ever need another reupholstery job again, I will definitely be back to Murphy's! read more

Murphy's just recovered a wingback chair for us and did a wonderful job! They were very professional and helpful in helping us "fit" the fabric. They obviously have an excellent eye as well as skill in upholstery. The turnaround was very quick, though we were fortunate that we caught them in a brief lull in business. Murphy's did an amazing job for my Nana's antique accent chair, from referring me to a great fabric store to returning the finished product. I was emailed the estimate and questions I had were promptly answered via email. It fell within the average time, about 3 weeks, to get the job done, but it was well worth the wait. Both their handling for the repairs and aesthetic sense for the reupholstering were excellent. The chair was in really bad shape going in and came out as new as a nearly-100-year-old chair could.
