However, that proved to be untrue...we drove to Murray for nothing...do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. My daughters did not care for them anyway, and I had yet to meet a dentist (this would be her 3rd cleaning appointment there). So, all worked out for the best. We were going there due to insurance, but I'll pay and go somewhere else rather than being treated such a way. Shame on you Sullivan Dental.

He stated he had to do additional work and charged for it. Make sure you get a written quote from this office or you will be paying much more.

She did not have any cavities, they were just brown stains. They gave her some abrasive floss, to use. Within 2 weeks the stains were gone. As far as the silver cap they put on, she ended up having to have a root canal on that tooth. I went to their office to get her records, they wanted me to come back in an hour, so they could fix her records. i refuse to leave till I had them. They got up part of the records and gave them to me, then they had their bouncer walk me out the door and tell me not to ever come back to them. I did report them to tennCare fraud, for the simple reason she did not have 3 cavities like they said she did, and it was confirmed by John Paffrath DDS. I am posting this, to warn other people of their childrens precious teeth. I already have a crown on the tooth that may need a root canal, and I wanted to know whether, if the existing crown is in good condition and can be retained, their provider can permanently restore the access hole made through the crown after the root canal. I was told that they normally place a temporary filling and send patients back to their general dentist. I understood that, but that wasn't what I was asking. I wasn't asking anyone to determine over the phone whether my particular crown could be restored. I simply wanted to know whether permanent restoration of an existing crown is something their providers will do when clinically appropriate. I even asked if she could check with the provider. Instead of getting a simple answer such as, "Yes, we can do that if the crown is suitable," or "No, our office never does permanent restorations and always refers patients back to their dentist," I was told that it depends on the provider and my situation and that I would need to come in for a consultation. That's what I found frustrating. I completely understand needing an examination to determine whether my crown is suitable to keep. But I don't believe I should have to pay nearly $200 just to find out whether the provider offers the service I'm looking for in the first place. I ultimately decided not to schedule. The interaction left me feeling like getting me booked for a paid consultation was more important than simply finding out from the provider whether this was something they were willing to do.
