Dr. Webber and his assistant Crystal were wonderful - kind, patient, and incredibly informative of everything they were doing. In fact, is it strange to say I had fun and the biggest challenge was trying not to laugh during the procedure?? There's a great vibe throughout the entire office, and you can tell people really enjoy working there. Even the front desk gals were delightful to work with, as this was my first time going the self-pay route. I called Alliance Endodontics with a very simple question before scheduling a consultation that would cost nearly $200. I already have a crown on the tooth that may need a root canal, and I wanted to know whether, if the existing crown is in good condition and can be retained, their provider can permanently restore the access hole made through the crown after the root canal. I was told that they normally place a temporary filling and send patients back to their general dentist. I understood that, but that wasn't what I was asking. I wasn't asking anyone to determine over the phone whether my particular crown could be restored. I simply wanted to know whether permanent restoration of an existing crown is something their providers will do when clinically appropriate. I even asked if she could check with the provider. Instead of getting a simple answer such as, "Yes, we can do that if the crown is suitable," or "No, our office never does permanent restorations and always refers patients back to their dentist," I was told that it depends on the provider and my situation and that I would need to come in for a consultation. That's what I found frustrating. I completely understand needing an examination to determine whether my crown is suitable to keep. But I don't believe I should have to pay nearly $200 just to find out whether the provider offers the service I'm looking for in the first place. I ultimately decided not to schedule. The interaction left me feeling like getting me booked for a paid consultation was more important than simply finding out from the provider whether this was something they were willing to do. read more

Everybody said OMG root canals hurt, well apparently nobody told Dr. Webber cause it was less painful than a cleaning...been over 24 hrs so novocain has wore off and no pain. Haven't even needed ibuprofen today. He and all the staff at Alliance Endodontics were and are amazing. read more

I had a root canal done on a crown here a couple weeks ago. I was able to get an appointment quite quickly. The first visit was an exam and x ray. After filling out paperwork you must pay before they take you in. You basically have to sign paperwork saying they are not held responsible for anything that might go wrong. Next appointment was the root canal itself. I had to wait over an hour to get in. This part I will give one out of five stars. Also be prepared to pay upfront for the procedure. Once in, everything went smoothly. The needle was the worst part. I was in no pain whatsoever after that. The dentist and his assistant kept me very comfortable under the circumstances. Be prepared to have your mouth opened for nearly two hours. Thank god I put chapstick on before I left the house. A visit to your dentist after the root canal is required so that the root canal hole can be filled. No one told me this part at the first visit. The dentist did text me a couple days later and asked how recovery was going. The good news was the recovery was going great. The bad news was my crown had fallen off while eating oatmeal. The dentist said not to worry and that my regular dentist will be able to clean up the area and reattach my crown. He was right! read more

My V.A. Dentist referred me to Alliance Endodontics for an evaluation that may warrant a root canal. Just a couple hours after the referral was sent over, Alliance was calling me to set up the appointment. They would be able to see me the next day. From the receptionist to the assistant (Ms. Annie) and Dr Webber, I was treated very well with their concern of my problem . Ms Annie was very professional in checking my teeth, x-raying and assisting Dr Webber throughout the procedure. No one looks forward to getting a root canal, but Dr Webber and his staff explain the processes prior to performing them and answer any questions that you have. They go out of their way to make this as painless as it can be, free of anxiety . The work they perform is 2nd to none. Growing up poor seemed like us kids that were on state assistance got assigned a dentist like the one in Little Shop of Horrors and it scarred me for life. I learned very quickly to take the very best care I could of my teeth to avoid that nightmare. However the years I've been dealing with my Cancer recurrences and multiple radiation treatments have affected my teeth. Not having dental insurance certainly didn't help either. Finally this year I was able to obtain dental from the VA and waited several months for the first appt. Immediately the dentist said one of my teeth needed at least a root canal and "probably" wouldn't be able to be saved. He promised to refer me out to a specialist but cautioned it may take awhile. I was crushed. Call it vain or whatever but the multiple recurrences have already taken such a toll on my body and I've tried so hard to take care of what i could. Fast forward to 3 weeks when a VA dental assistant contacted me. It was on a Friday afternoon. I was in pain from the tooth and just overwhelmed from work. She made one call to Dr Webber's office and they told her they would see me first thing that Monday. I went in and was greeted by the kindest staff. It was crazy busy and i couldn't believe they agreed to see me because i could see how swamped they had to feel. But yet at no time did they seem flustered by the phone ringing off the hook or all the patients or anything. Dr Webber then came in and right away put me at ease. This specialist? It's obvious his loves what he does. This is not just a job to him. He came in and spoke with me. I admit I got a little emotional talking about my fear of losing yet another thing because of this Cancer junk. He shared with me he too was a Veteran and promised to do all he could to help me immediately. Not only did he complete my root canal that morning, he did it! He saved my tooth. The Aftercare - i was sore of course but The ibuprofen helped. He even checked on me a few days later to make sure I was doing ok. Wow. Y'all if you could have seen how he treated every single one of his patients there - it was pretty awesome to see such commitment to quality care. I never felt like an "afterthought" even tho them fitting me in had to have put them behind. The whole staff hustled that morning- kept checking on the patients to make sure we were all ok, working like a well-oiled machine. Didn't matter what we looked like, our age, how we were paying...when the doc came in the room he focused totally on me and my dental needs. I cannot thank this Doctor and his staff enough for getting me in so quickly. Frankly I and the regular dentist were astounded that he was able to save it. It was really bad. If ever you guys need a root canal, I am telling you this is the place to get it done at. Thank you Doctor for listening to me and for caring like you do. The entire staff at Alliance Endodondics was among the most professional I have experienced. Dr Webber is of an academic mind. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure to me as it was taking place. He did a great job on the surgery and I am thoroughly pleased with my experience. Unfortunately, the time came to have a root canal. My regular dentist recommended Alliance Endodontics for this state-of-the-art procedure. The day came after it was agreed upon this procedure would be required to save a tooth. (Many people often think people with rotten, horrible, or teeth not taken care of are those who need root canals. This is not the only reason why a root canal would be required.) So, after I was met by the office staff, Riana, Cynthia, and Catie, I was introduced to Dr. Theodore Tutwhiler. I found not only Dr. Tutwiler to be cordial, friendly, and courteous, but he was also witty and patient with excellent bedside manners. I've had to take my 12 year old in twice for a problem tooth. First, although they didn't have any appointments available Raina got my son seen the same day. The staff is friendly and you don't feel intimidated at all during the visit. Dr. Webber is amazing!!!! Instead of taking the easy route, he regrew the roots and was able to save his tooth. We had to go in this week for thankfully just a molar coming in, but everything was thoroughly checked. Financially they don't break the bank which is another plus in my book. I had a root canal done today by Dr. Webber and I cannot give he and his assistant enough glowing remarks. He talked throughout the procedure and told me what he was doing and why which I really like and was appreciative. The entire thing was super fast unlike a root canal I had done 11 years ago. I remember that being such a horrible experience so I was extremely apprehensive about needing one today but figured Dr. Webber couldn't do worse than the last dentist. And now, Dr. Webber has set the bar so high that I doubt any Dentist can touch it at this point...and he is never allowed retire. Haha. Dr. Webber was nice and courteous. While performing my root canal he drilled two holes into a front bottom #24 crown, very small in diameter, with a thin top. He accidentally knocked off the crown while drilling. I was told my dentist could glue it back on. My dentist was having back surgery at the time. I went over a month without a bottom front tooth. I called my dentists office and was told I needed to have it temporarily put back on to prevent drifting. Upon beginning the procedure, it was noticed the crown was chipped in the top corner where the drill hole was. I have no extra money, so I told them to just put it back on chipped. Was told you cannot wear a broken crown. Had to buy a new crown. One that I had paid over a 1000.00 for a couple years earlier. My insurance paid for the root canal supposedly. But I had to pay for the crown again. I liked Dr. Webber as he spoke very professionally. But I am disappointed in no accountability for this situation. The insurance company would not help. It was all on me and this was just how it goes. So a 2 star is all I can give and I believe that is generous. I hope I never have to have another root canal. read more

I walked in there on referral from my family dentist last Wednesday with a terribly abscessed rear molar & in so much pain & swelling that I could hardly stand it. I was referred here for a root canal by my dentist, and am someone new to the area. I didn't know what to expect when going here and was pleasantly surprised. They are located in an older looking office building, which put me on edge... but once I got into the office my anxiety decreased quite a bit. It's a smaller office, so you don't have to worry about a lot of people. It is very clean and newer looking. There was a patient leaving while I was waiting (which wasn't too long of a wait), and she said that she just got a root canal and it didn't feel much worse than a filling. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. The appointment seemed to take a while, but I felt like they weren't just trying to rush through and that they were more interested in providing quality care. As I was leaving, all the staff members said goodbye said "have a great day"... you don't see competent friendly staff like that much anymore. They really seemed to enjoy their jobs. And they also encouraged me to help myself to the mini-fridge of beverages and the basket of snacks, that they had in the waiting room. I've had a root canal done elsewhere, and didn't have nearly as good of an experience. I would highly recommend this office to anyone having to undergo a root canal. read more

I went to Dr. Webber last week to have a root canal. This is my second one that he has done. I returned after my first because I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Webber. His root canals are virtually painless. I would prefer to have a root canal than a filling and that is saying alot since I have HIGH anxiety when it comes to the dentist. When he comes in the room, he puts you right at ease and takes the time to tell you what is going on at each step of the way. He also answers any questions you might have. I had told him that I thought I would need sedation because of anxiety, but he said he wanted me to give it a try without it because he prides himself in pain free root canals. He was RIGHT. I have now had two root canals with no sedation! His office is very clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous. You just will not find a better experience than Alliance Endodontics and Dr. Webber! read more
