The worst communication and very unprofessional. I've had to use them 3 times for closings because the realtor worked with them. Each time I have had to use them, there were massive issues, including wiring my money over $25,000 to someone else's account. Then another time, I took out an equity line, giving them a voided check for them to set up my automatic payments. Of course, they didn't, causing my first payment to be missed hurting my credit score. The 3rd time I had a closing with them, I waited over 3 months with no update on closing which was 2 months after the original closing date was supposed to execute. I called their office every 4 weeks to get an update and no one there ever had an answer, nor ever tried to communicate with me that they were even trying. Zero communication and extremely unknowledgeable. No attempts from them to find out what the hold up was so I cancelled my offer on the property, cancelled the closing with them. Found a beach property, closed in 10 days with another law firm (they were fabulous). The 4th time I had a closing, my realtor tried to scheduled closing with them, I said absolutely Not, Made her cancel with Murray Immediately. Never again!! read more

My moving to from Sturbridge, MA to Myrtle Beach, SC was like the perfect storm. Murphy's Law dictates that EVERYTHING that could go wrong, will go wrong. We chose Quicken Loans as our lender and Murray Law to handle our case. We shopped for our home in early June and scheduled closing for 07/27 In SC, you have to choose which attorney/insurance agent/lender you want and nobody is allowed to suggest/recommend anyone Pretty much picked them up based on hearsay because we did not know anybody else. Everything looked good or so I thought after following up with Murray/Quicken Got all my stuff in 2 U-Hauls and left MA on 07/22 On Tuesday while driving thru VA, Quicken Loans tells me that they need some updated paperwork urgently and nobody at Murray is reachable. I called, and called but all i get is voicemail. No callback. My Real Estate agent actually went to their office to find out what is happening. Nothing Wednesday AM, Quicken reports they received the paperwork but it was late to close on Friday 07/27. Closing was scheduled for Monday 07/30 Mind you, I'm in VA with 2 U-Haul trucks, 1 car and everything we own at hand in the middle of the worst possible rains on the northeast corridor Trivia question: How much is the distance from 01566 to 29588? Answer: About 850 miles Do you know how much it costs to maintain a family of 4 /2 U-Haul trucks/ 1 car moving from MA to SC? Answer: U Haul Trucks: $3000 Hotels: $1000 Meals: $1500 Fuel: $1000 Do you know how much more in expenses in the middle of high season is to not get your house keys until 2 weeks later? Answer: A LOT! We did not get to record our deed until 08/03 You do not get your house keys until you record After that, the mortgage paperwork for one reason or another could not be settled. At that point the Attorney Mike M. from Murray kept me apprised with the status until everything was done In the end, Mike M. from Murray Law made things right but boy! I think I aged quite a bit those 2 weeks My recommendation is if you decide to go with ANY LAWYER, call their and ask to talk to them and their paralegals a few times If it seems to you they are too busy to pick the phone or keep you updated, go find someone else read more

Used this office less than a year ago and they couldn't get anything done. Mr. Murray is retired now and all I hear is awful experiences from those using Murray anywhere around. Their OK reputation is now completely gone. I hope they close down and stop ruining people's lives. read more

I made an appointment for my Mom who wanted to modify and update her 30 year old will. Mike McDonough was very helpful and generous with his time and expertise. My husband and I also had two sessions with Mike to prepare our wills. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful and his prices were very reasonable. If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. I called them to check on something on a title report that my lawyer gave me& told me to get another legal opinion on it. Not expecting free legal advise as I am willing to pay for their time & knowledge I was told ever so rudely by the receptionist they won't talk to me unless I'm their client.
