The Urban Farm maintains its status as a staple in our hospital and local community. There are so many educational and work opportunities and they are also available to the general public. During the summer months especially, watering is a constant need, and the plants would gladly accept your help. They always let you harvest what's producing, too, so you get a little "bonus" for your efforts.
Parking is still only available on the streets unless you are fortunate to live nearby and can walk or bike. If you've never been, you should plan a stroll by sometime. It's so peaceful and beautiful, I'm sure you'll want to come back!
There are no public facilities, but you can definitely use one of the neighboring buildings during weekdays. I would suggest bringing a water bottle so you can stay hydrated, too. I hope you get to enjoy this urban farm as much as I do. read more
