You'd be blessed to see the beautiful 6'9 270 lbs bodybuilder aka Mr. Vienna IKe Catcher along with his crew working out, he's know for lifting woman above his head and making them swoon(well deserved) For only $10 a day you could work out in the muscle pit which has no cardio all weights and it's a one time entry thats that's a full day pass which I think is more than reasonable with a $200 yearly pass which is very cost-effective compared to monthly gems in the area that are over 100 each per month. There are many people here that are out of shape mixed with professional bodybuilders, Ron's of tourist working out for the day and big fans of Arnold. There is a nice stadium that surrounds it that provides a very quiet little area outside of the hustle and bustle of muscle beach also Venice beach boardwalk or many people stop for either a smoke or to have lunch or just a cool down. Every few months there's competitions which go back to 80's. This place has a lot of history and the energy is profound and amazing and I love passing through and taking a rest in the bleacher's admiring all the beautiful people. There's something absolutely special working out underneath the sign with the ocean breeze as well as an ocean view.

What an amazing beach so much fun the equipment they have to use for free it's like being in a gymnastics gym. So cool must visit.. wasn't to packed when we came.

Time for me to Muscle my way into these reviews, with this review of Venice's Muscle Beach. Many years ago it moved from Santa Monica Pier, a little ways south along the Pacific Coast, to the little magical haven of Venice. These days it's overrun by the homeless and the tourists, but for a long time, Venice had a certain unique magic and was even a little sleepy, if not for the colourful eclecticness and the infamous and unique open-air gym filled with some of the most impressive physical specimens on display anywhere in the US. This is definitely more a boy-gym than a girl-gym although occasionally you will find some ripped hottie in neon pink or yellow, but for the most parts it's very very big dudes, most of them on a steady diet of steroids, but there are some who didn't even use a single enhancement - I would know, because I've got a decent physique that way, not that I have a problem with chemicals for other people, but I'm very wary of them in myself and try to avoid them even though avoiding chemicals and living in the US is the biggest contradiction imaginable. I wish it was a free open-air gym, but there's not a lot of free stuff in LA (or New York) anymore, partly because Democratic taxpayers don't like to pay for free stuff unless it's stuff that everyone needs and uses - as opposed to Republicans who don't like to pay for free stuff unless it's a free NFL stadium for a billionaire who will then charge $140 for entry to the nosebleeds. Anyway I left some money here at Muscle Beach, buried in the sand, last time I was here. Next time I go back, Beach better have my money.

Muscle Beach (Venice) is merely an outdoor weightlifting platform around since the 80s with a weights, sand box, rope climbing, and bars. Basically it's a playground for people who can't reach their own balloon knots.

Such friendly vibes all around. Is this what no Seattle freeze feels like? First time playing with the traveling rings and stuck around long enough to finally feel accomplished. Jason, if you ever stumble upon this review you're a rockstar man. Thanks for the tips and advice to me, my friends, and the other strangers trying the rings out. Ropes, pull-up bars, and balancing beams also offer fun experiences to not only exercise, but generally play around with and have a blast.

Love it. Great for all who want to take part in it. Great for the community . Love the outdoor vibe.

It was a very interesting place to explore. My family and I were on our way to Hollywood Walk of Fame. One of my boys, who is into weight lifting, suggested to visit Muscle Beach. Glad we did. Everyone got a fix of what we wanted: short work out, view of the beach and pics of the surrounding beauty. And, we ran into The Hulk! One of the highlights of our quick visit. Note: Parking is $18 for all day. Or, street parking was pretty easy to find; we were there before the shops open for business.

My first time at muscle beach and it was an experience. Lots to see and it was bustling with people. There are lots of little stores and food around and workout sites with bars and ropes and more. It seems like a great place to feel motivated to work out or show off your hard earned body. I had fun trying to tackle the long rope but barely made it 2 feet off the ground.. my friend however went all the way to the top and made it back down in safety. There were kids there going up and down the ropes like nothing it made me feel so useless but maybe its a sign I need to stop eating and start exercising haha. The place is interesting but not a place I would go go swim. It seemed fairly dirty and there was just wayy too many people. It was so hard to find parking and I ended up parking 10 minutes away on a meter and walked. Its a great place to mark off your bucket list but not a place I go back unless I am with someone who hasn't gone and wants to go.

One of those places any Fitness Fanatic visiting Venice must come and check out. I had no real intentions to make the drive here but having a day at the beach my Husbands friend knowing how into Fitness I am announced that he really wanted me to come check it out before we head home and I am glad I did, it's symbolic. Not much else to add but come see for yourself!

While this is an iconic and beautiful outdoor gym, the people who run it are unprofessional and engage in favoritism and poor management.

The Yoga Space: Minimalist, with warm wood tones, all sun-lit by a giant oval skylight overhead. The Class (Flow with Bailey Kai): This was a music-driven, cue-based flow that works for all levels. Bailey's teaching style is beginner-friendly for anyone who is looking to explore yoga in a beautiful setting with great music. She guides the movement first, then names the pose in English. It allows the body to learn easily, which is a great for new students. The class unfolded as one long, continuous flow that gradually built. Near the end, we were offered an optional peak pose of Birds of Paradise. As we down-regulated with grounded stretching, the playlist slipped into a moody, hypnotic feel of "Want It" by Mk.gee (gentle, inward, & beautifully timed: https://youtu.be/ZXVCmYWCOwI?si=U1tWC20pIELUMylK), followed by grounded stretching and savasana. I brought a friend (one of my favorite yoga teachers;-), and she appreciated some of Bailey's creative cueing. Always a good sign when a teacher enjoyed class.
