I had many cases when I needed Dr. Zein's advice due emergency (my boy kicked his milk tooth by accident) and he was helpful and kind to my boy. My tooth was chipped last Friday. I phoned the Practice and I've got an appointment for this week. Generally, it's difficult to get an appointment at NHS. I'm very grateful to have Dr. Zein because it's very difficult to find a good, decent Practice/dentist nowadays.

There is no designated car park for visitors, only for staff, so parking is first come, first served on the adjacent streets, crime is quite high around here so leave your car in well lit areas and hide all belongings. All the services are on the ground floor and of course has disabled access. As well as GP services, there is an onsite NHS Dentist and Orthodontist who also provide Dental Anxiety Management sessions for those filled with dread about getting their teeth treated. Treatment Room Nurses can provide all manner of treatments including blood tests, dressings and ear syringing, and the Podiatry services are taking new referrals weekly. Other clinics held here also include, Family Planning, Asthma, Diabetes, Men and Women's health. All clinics don't run daily, so telephone first before attending to book an appointment.

It is a private practice although has a small budget for NHS patients but not all treatments may be available. They practice has six surgeries with five dentists and two hygenists. You can also get implants, bleeching and botox done here. If you can't make it to the surgery in office hours they do open late for two nights every month. I use the facilities regularly and the staff are all extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. For new mums can I recommend the postnatal groups and Baby Cafe all very helpful and a great way to meet other new mums. The only problem I have ever found is that the GP surgeries are on the 1st Floor and the lift is always breaking down. The staff will organise for a GP to see you downstairs if you are unable to tackle the stairs though so doesn't create too much of a problem.

The drinks and to-go food selection is okay but I do feel other places within the station including WHSmith, Marks and Spencer and the Co-op outside are better, however. It can get a little crowded at peak times, I do occasionally see warehouse boxes around the store too which makes this a little worse. If you're looking for a flu shot, this store as of writing has the best availability in the city centre with appointments most days compared to the Arndale/Market Street branch which would have had me waiting over two weeks, and Piccadilly Gardens which has over a weeks wait for an appointment after 4:30 pm (This is a seasonal thing remember!) The reason I've managed to avoid getting the dreaded flu myself is wrapping up warm and carrying First Defense and Cuticura Hand Gel with me. The former keeps me warm and toasty and the latter two kill off bad germs and bacteria. Luckily, this Boots stocks both so whenever I'm travelling and running low on either, I just pop in and grab some on my way to the platform.
