Our teachers are conservatory trained, and many play professionally in various orchestras, jazz bands, Broadway shows and other musical acts. Besides being great musicians they are also excellent teachers.
Our music instruction company sends teachers of all instruments and voice to clients' homes in and around NYC, the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and Brooklyn. Our service makes learning an instrument easy and convenient. There is no travel required, and taking lessons in the comfort of your home sets the tone for a relaxed environment to learn.
The owners hand pick each teacher, making sure that they look good not only on paper but also have excellent dispositions too. They can teach any style of music a student is looking to learn, including jazz, rock, pop and classical.
We service most areas of Manhattan, including the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Tribeca, Chelsea, Flatiron, Hells Kitchen, Soho, Noho, Greenwhich Village and the Financial District.
We are always available to help you get the materials and instruments needed to start the lessons. And we are always open to answer any questions regarding billing, curriculum or recitals.
History
Established in 2003.
Music To Your Home was founded in 2003 by husband and wife musicians Vincent and Tracy Reina. Vincent is a piano player and teacher and Tracy is a singer. Their musical knowledge covers almost every genre, from Tracy's experience in the classic rock and pop world from her VH1 Classic days, to Vincent's extensive education studying classical music. Their 6-year-old twin boys take lessons from one of MTYH's teachers, as does their nephew. Each June, MTYH hosts a recital for all of their students. MTYH's students have also played in international competitions and some have even gone on to study music at universities across the nation.
Meet the Business Owner: Vincent R.
Vincent Reina began teaching piano lessons as a HS student, and has continued to do so ever since. He's taught 100s of students in Rockland every style of music, from classical to jazz, rock to pop, and everything in between. Vincent received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from Purchase Conservatory. He then earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching Music from Manhattanville College. He's also an alumnus of the prestigious Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division. When he formed Music to Your Home in 2003 his goal was simple, to continue the tradition of excellence he's maintained in his piano studio and extend it to all instruments and voice. Mr. Reina handpicks the teachers for Music to Your Home and holds them to the highest standards. Along with teaching, Vincent has performed for television, audio recordings and on professional stages in various genres of music. He's the proud winner of many significant piano competitions.
