I committed to one lesson a week for a year and it was amazing. There's only so much I know with only musical exposure for a year but what I can tell you regarding my singing is that I have more fun, I am more confident, and dare I say I may even sound quite a bit better. Gabi helped me discover what my vocal strengths are, helped with my weaknesses, and taught me all kinds of techniques to use when singing. (I still don't know what half of them are called but she was great at putting it in terms for me to understand) I'm just an average person who likes to jam to Disney musicals in my car. She really connects with her students which allowed her to help me explore other music that I may enjoy, and it definitely worked. It was an expensive commitment, sure, but that initial fit gave me the confidence to commit and somehow I feel I got more out of than I was expecting. I recently brought in my luthier made uke and they were able to diagnose why the A string kept coming off. I love going in there and browsing all the books- if they don't have something, they honestly try to get it for you and they have been super patient with me when my accident prevented me from picking up my uke. Had a loooong talk with one of the guys about the great music of the late sixties and seventies and never felt once that i was being rushed away. When music is part of your soul, you can talk about it all day long. Great guys, great service!
