I especially love that Jennifer not only works through lessons books with them, but she has been incorporating ear training as well and helping them play popular songs on the radio by ear. This helps keep things fun and balanced for them. She is also not afraid to venture into new areas with the kids as they show interest. For example, my oldest recently joined a band, and Jennifer has been helping him work on his band songs as needed. He is also showing interest in songwriting, and she has been happy to help and encourage that. Additionally, my daughter has shown interest in playing and singing, but she is a little shy about it. Jennifer has been great at encouraging her and giving her the opportunity to sing and play. We have recommended Jennifer to several of our kids' friends whose parents have approached us about starting piano lessons.
