The Church is beautiful and very unique in it's architecture and services. The church was founded in 1980. Andrew Yavornitzky, pastor, has been the priest at St Mark's Church since 1987. Pastor Andrew was one of the most out going and pleasant Pastors I have ever met and talk with. The service he gave with the amount of passion and detail was amazing. The choir which performed during the entire service was very good at what they do also. If I lived in Rochester Hills, Michigan , I would definitely visit this church on a regular basis. Bible study is at 9:30 followed by a 10:30 morning worship. The worship service lasted until 12 Noon. They have a very nice detailed program. I felt comfortable and welcomed.

I regularly attended the 10:00 am Sunday Mass, where he main homilist is Monsignor Zenz. Father Zenz has some of the best homilies, and I've been to many a Catholic church in my life! The music is great, and they have a dedication to serving the community....I could go on and on. Lucky for me, Holy Name's website -- http://hnchurch.catholicweb.com -- keeps audio records of the masses and homilies, so I can continue to experience the Masses at Holy Name even though I live on the West Coast now.

I recently visited Lutheran Redeemer. They must have made some additions to the building. It seems…read moreeven bigger and nicer than I remembered. This is the church where I was married in 1997. The building and its grounds are beautiful. We worked with the man who was then the pastor, Rev. Wuggazer, and the organist to make decisions and changes here and there about the details of our wedding ceremony. I especially treasure the Bible that Pastor Wuggazer gave to us, which was passed around at the reception, and contains inscriptions from all our wedding attendees. What a wonderful keepsake. The pastor did a great job. My hubby and I are still happily married after all these years.
