I have eaten here about once or twice a year for the last 4 years when I am in the area. Tonight i went after 18 months due to the limitations of pandemic travel.
It was absolutely incredible. Chef Patrick new since I have been there. He created the most amazing meal. 1st I had the mussels, which he came to my table and asked how I would like them prepared. I asked for a suggestion and he indicated a couple of different ways but recommended the marinara. I said ok expecting some typical tomato and garlic broth. What came out was the most favorable vegetable cream sauce. I do it no justice with my description. I asked for some bread and I was handed a bag of bread croutons that went perfect with it. Then the main course came of the special moose with root vegetables and black kale. The kale created the perfect balance of the sweet vegetables and the tart kale. Then the dessert of beet ice cream with caramelized pound cake with a sweet sauce.
