After picking out our Goldendoodle, we had to find a trainer. Babette wowed me from the first phone call I made to her. I visited other classes and spoke to other trainers. I went to classes to scope out the techniques that these trainers used, but there was one main difference between Babette and the rest... She had a guarantee. If your pup didn't pass the test at the end of class you can come back and take it again. When I asked others if they did this, their response was, "It is your responsibility to keep up the training." Basically NO! Babette is confident, friendly, and our puppy gets so excited when he sees her. She really has a way with dogs and people. She came over the day after we got our new puppy to help us instill good behavior from day one. This has really been and enjoyable process. If we are in the vets office, in our elevator, at the park, or just walking down the street, people can't believe our 15 week old puppy is so well behaved! Our response, we owe it all to Babette Haggerty. We sent our puppy to Babette for boot camp. Babette would not settle for meritocracy. She wanted our puppy to be as good as he could be even it if took an extra day or two over her time! She is a family oriented person and can't say enough about how wonderful our experience has been with her. When we decide to get another addition to our family, Babette will be the first phone call we make.

When I asked about the 2 items I hired her for, she told me to 'diaper them; and 'get a bark collar'. Then on visit 3 she cancelled one hour prior with NO MAKE up. I asked for a refund and she only gave me a partial refund, she charged $2000 for 3 hours of her time and did not provide what I asked or hired her for. Overpriced for what I got... 3 hours of how to walk a dog on a leash. I could have googled what she taught me.

I've been a professional pet sitter for 26 years, and it's always been morning, mid day, and evening. I've arrived at homes during the day to find sick pets and some near death. I'm sure when the owner is home, their dogs go out during the day. Leaving dogs alone all day outside, any professional that cares will not agree with that. Drowning in the pool, owls, hawks, coyotes, theft, heatstroke, digging out, snakes, alligators. If the sitter cares more about the safety and welfare of the pets, than the owner who cares more about saving a buck, it's time to part ways. Highly recommend.

I filled out an intake form and gave her the run down of my dog. She told me she only takes 1 dog at a time which made me feel comfort as I don't want to overwhelm my dog with multiple dogs around. You have to pick up your dog by a certain time if not you could possibly be charged another night. Therefore, since my plane was coming in alittle later I ask my best friend to pick my dog up for me. Upon me dropping my dog off Jen tells me she was going to take another dog because my dog seems "calm" but the dog started peeing everywhere and she declined to sit for that dog. That rubbed me wrong because during the initial meeting you stressed you only take 1 dog at a time. Mind you she has 1 dog herself and either 1 or 2 cats. Taking in another strangers dog on top of you already watching someone else's dog could lead to issues. Also while on my trip she barely gave me updates. Didn't check in and sent me 2 pictures the day I was coming home. Also when my friend picked up my dog Jen informed her he got out of the gate twice and she had to chase after him. I told her he was a runner n to be very mindful of him. What if my dog was hit by a car or stolen? Mind you Jen NEVER texted me and told me he ran away TWICE. She is extremely expensive....$40 a night. I paid you $150 for thrusday-mid afternoon Sunday and my dog could've been hurt or killed and he did not have your attention this weekend. Lastly, when my dog got home my friend put food in his bowl and he ate it all in one sitting. That is NOT my dog's eating pattern. He nibbled, walks away and eats throughout the day. He does not eat in one sitting. This tells me you where not making sure he was eating and the other dogs in your home most likely were eating his food. You told me if it was ok to put him in his crate to eat just in case your dog tries to eat his food....sounds like you asked a question you didn't adhere too. Lastly, my dog came back with fleas. Do u treat your yard and home? He did not come with fleas. He is a house dog. I had to give him a flea bath and take him to the visit for his open cuts on his tummy for scratching himself so bad. I will never bring my dog back to you and I would not recommend you to anyone.
