The Musée du Désert has exhibits about the French Protestants struggle and persecution and is located in Cévennes National Park. This was a decent museum with some interesting artifacts and it is located in a beautiful area. After visiting this museum we enjoyed a really nice day swimming in a nearby river that seemed to be very popular with locals. Speaking of locals the people that we met in this area were among the nicest and most hospitable of any I've ever met in France. read more
